Not sure how people can conclude he is not playing FOR SURE.

I don't think it is in the Pat's interest to announce Hernandez' ultimate status this week until the last possible moment. I'm pretty sure BB does not care about anyone's fantasy team.

Yep. I have Hernandez in two leagues, and probably won't start him in either league unless the Patriots say he is playing for sure before the game starts (which I doubt they will do). Unless your other TE is absolute crap, I would recommend others doing the same thing.

Or Casey ? With Fred Davis on a BYE, I had no other option this week but to pick him up. Heck, I may just roll the dice with Hernandez. I have a feeling he's playing and BB is just not tipping his hand.

I own Gronk/Hern and so my choice is obvious, but I hope that Hern comes back because it really helps both of them. I believe the Pats destroy the Jets this weekend, and those two TE's will be key to the gameplan. If Hern has some sort of late setback, that game might be a lot tighter game.

Great point. Even last week with no reason not to produce, Gronk played and was shut out.

He will probably end up being questionable on Friday's injury report and will be cited as being a game time decision.However, in reality I think he will either play close to normal or be out entirely and the Pats will do this to keep the Jets guessing and having to work on game plans with and without Hernandez.We will all then have to guess which way this will go. I think he will play, but there is nothing to back that up at this point.

I don't blame Belichick or NE at all for doing this just because it's an inconvenience on my FF team. Going against a division rival, no team would play their hand before they had to. It's common sense.

Hasn't been the same since the injury. Easy TD dropped this game. I wouldn't throw to him much either if I was Brady. It was the beginning of the end after I traded for him. I feel like I should apologize to him in person. :(

Same here....that drop cost me a playoff chance. I just don't understand how drops & mental errors can be blamed on the injury. Her's been back & practicing for weeks now

he was moving very well this game from what i could tell. had some really nice cuts and moves after the catch. dunno why he cant catch.
