Abdullah for 10th and 18th? (1 Viewer)

The guy with 10th and 18th pick in our draft offered them to me for Abdullah. I initially said no way, but now I wonder?

I think I could get Lynch at 10 (if someone reaches up for him then that probably leaves Perine there?) and then maybe someone like a Williams (joe or Jamaal) or maybe even Hunt at 18. (I suspect alot of QB's and a couple WR's are going in the top 2 rounds so I think those projections are pretty likely)

Should I reconsider this? I think Lynch could get me more points this year than Abdullah and then the Hunt/williams/williams pick for the future? I'm back and forth on how I feel about Abdullah and his injuiries + you know, being a Lion. lol

I am confused with this question...This seems like a no brainer to me. TAKE THE DEAL!!

Abdullah is projected upper 40s to upper 60s with ADP in the 60s on most sites. It seems to good to be true to be getting two players in the second round for a 5th-7th round value. Please explain what I am missing. I cannot understand why someone would be so interested in Abdullah.

It's Full Dynasty... (Not year 1)

I can't get anyone in the draft except rookies and the occasional FA who isn't owned (like Lynch). We are an 8 team 30 player dynasty so basically the top 240 players are already owned and not avalable in the draft. Like I said in my post, I figure if I'm lucky I could get Lynch and maybe Hunt (Rokkie from KC) with the 2 picks (possibly not though, hard to predict for sure could be Perine with the 10th, or something)

Basically the question is should I move Abdullah for Lynch and a rookie like Hunt, Williams or Williams, or possibly even 2 rookies like Perine and one of the other 3???

I'm assuming this is dynasty, not re-draft. So 10th and 18th pick in the rookie draft.

Personally, I'd keep Abdullah, but I'm also a big Abdullah fan. Earlier in the offseason that 10th pick could have probably gotten you someone like Perine, but he might go too high now. All of my drafts were a month+ ago, so might be out of date, but that range was mostly Perine/Top TEs in my leagues. 18th pick is going to be a crap shoot, but you might get something good if you're lucky. I was able to get Jamaal Williams around there, but he might be rising due to the positive camp news.

Given this is dynasty, I would give serious thought to doing the deal and taking Kamara at 10. He usually falls to there, and has fabulous upside (Payton recently compared him to Marshall Faulk). Peterson will be gone in a year or two, as will Ingram (probably). You could really hit the jackpot with Kamara if you can afford to wait, and then take a nice complementary player at 18.
