Addai no lock to play Week 5 per Sportsline (1 Viewer)

Not for nothin, but FBG's don't even have K.Keith posted among the top 70 RBs this week. Luke Lawton is even listed. A statement of confidence in Addai, or lack of in K.Keith for this week. Not trying to give away subscriber content, but Keith not on the radar, but many others I wouldn't consider starting. If Addai were to be statused doubtful or downgraded, would Keith magically appear in the top 20?

Perhaps they are saying Keith would just replace Addai's slot if Addai sits.

IF that's the case why not just post rushing numbers for each team. NO, someone fell asleep on the projections. Even with the assumption that Addai starts, Keith is going to see time since Addai is a bit dinged/limited in practice all week. Keith is a gutsy start at this point with a ton to lose if Addai is good to go. He, Addai, practiced today (Fri) but was limited.

You must be right. But why would they have Garret Wolfe, Ryan Grant, Heath Evan, and Lorenzo Neal and no K. Keith. Makes not a lot of sense to me. Back-ups and non factors. Selvin Young is ranked really high, with not much more of a guarantee.

Hopefully the colts make the announcement so owners can start KK if in fact Addai sits

Colts officials indicated Friday that Joseph Addai's "bruised shoulder" is similar to an injury he dealt with last season.

Addai played in every game as a rookie, including all four playoff wins. "He got hit on that shoulder and got that bruise," coach Tony Dungy said. "It’s really more in the chest now. (Addai) says it's better than what it was in the playoffs. But obviously the playoffs was a do-or-die situation." Addai remains a game-time decision for Week 5. Be prepared with other options.

The Indianapolis Star reports the Colts will likely err on the side of caution this week regarding "questionable" players Marvin Harrison (knee strain), Bob Sanders (ribs), and Joseph Addai (shoulder/chest).

The 4-0 Colts may be looking at their upcoming bye in Week 6 as a means to get their best players healthy. "If they feel good mentally, (they) will go," coach Tony Dungy said after practice Friday. "But the other guys have practiced all week and if there's any doubt, we'll go with the guys who have practiced."

ESPN's John Clayton reported on Sportscenter Saturday that Joseph Addai, Marvin Harrison, Bob Sanders, and Freddie Keiaho are unlikely to play Sunday.

This goes along with what the local papers are saying in Indianapolis. Fantasy owners should assume they will be without Addai. The only way you can wait is if you own Kenton Keith or another option from the late games that could replace him in lineups.

On Press Coverage (Sirius) this morning they had Colts beat writer Tom James on who reported Addai is out for Sunday.
