Adjusting Auction Values for Unique Ruleset (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone- first time posting- flummoxed by this auction issue. I am in a high stakes half ppr ten man league that has THREE flex spots and THREE keepers. I am curious how the large amount of weekly starters should affect auction values, as well as keepers.

I feel like three flex makes the top line players less valuable and the mid level players more valuable. Contrarily, the lack of top talent because of keepers readjusts this making high end talent more valuable. The results is likely a net equal… in my estimation. I win consistently in snake but can’t seem to put together a great draft in years of this format.

Welcome any thoughts and adjustments. Thank you!

Having three flex spots should allow you to target value much better as you have a lot of flexibility in roster construction (assuming the forced spots "must play 1 RB" for example are low).   You don't have to force positions due to scarcity and can build in many different ways.

Are the keepers based on salary?  Meaning do you get hit with a salary cap hit based on the auction value you won a player at for the future keepers?  This also plays a role where you want to maximize value so you can minimize the cap hit from year to year on your keepers.
