So i went threw the play by play of the 2nd half of the GB/MN game, from what I saw Arian Peterson had 2 carries both on 1st down each for 2 yards. Minnesota had 3 drives before they started passing the ball every down beacuse it was 4th quarter and they were behind. If you look at those three drives, two were 3 and outs, and the other was not much better. Chester Taylor had 3 carries to ADP's 2 in that time span.
There just were not a lot of chances for ADP to carry the ball in the 2nd half. Now, I still think they could have gotten him involved. Throw in a screen pass after 4 straight normal passes and let ADP catch and run for 20 yards (hopefully). I think people are over reacting to the lack of touches he had. 3 and outs and trailing is just a crappy position to be in if you are a RB looking for carries.
With that said, I would have invlolved him more if I was the coach/OC. I also would let one of my fast crappy WRs punt/kick return, no need for him to be out there even if the injury stigma is overrated, if you want to keep him fresh then dont make him sprint 30 yards and get hit before your offense takes the field.
-Looking forward to starting ADP 'until he retires'!
