AFC Championship - Patriots Hold Off Jags (1 Viewer)

Jags can't give up the lead from here on out. Too easy for the refs to keep the W with the Pats if they take the lead.
Can't you stop already? I hate the ####### Pats, but all of this talk about the Refs on their side makes this thread terrible to read. Just let it go.

All these movies look awful.

I guess I'll stick to my usual one theater visit per year with Black Panther.

So Goodell and the league office hate the Pats. But the refs who work for them love the Pats. Interesting conspiracy you've got there.
Simple.

Goodell appeals to the public by coming down against the Pats.

Refs appeal to the sponsors and tv ratings by keeping Pats winning. Sports juggernauts draw ratings, that's just a fact of life. People watch to see dynasties fall.

Before kick...Romo giddy about possible field position

After kick.....crickets
Probably because the strategy behind deciding whether to kick that and the implications are interesting. The strategy behind a regular kickoff after a FG is not.

You people are insane

Not a big fan of throwing on 1st down when you're backed up towards your endzone. Now you pretty much have to throw on 2nd and 3rd down.

You have a lot of faith in the secretive conspiring capabilities of a league office that proves every year it's full of idiots. Really shrewd moves you're attributing to a league and commissioner who are consistently on the wrong side of public opinion on every single issue. Guess this is the one thing they are really good at getting right.

The difference between a qb playjng well and a great qb....2nddowm seeing a blitz coming...a great qb doesn’t stay in a play action deeper drop and take a sack.

Yeah, I did not like that play calling there. You have been mashing them in the run game, and when backed up like that, mash them some more.
