They played it so over the top safe.  Those runs for a 1 yard loss on 1st down every possession.  At least mix in some screens or something.  And one blitz on D the entire second half (which of course, worked great) when the front 4 could get no pressure.

These teams just curl up against New England no matter how many times it fails.
