My personal choice is the NHL. Probably the most humble guys you will see in all of sports.
Forgot to put that as an option. Do people still watch that sport?Nascar.
Local ff league started a fantasy Redneck car league after the 97 season to give us trash talk fodder untill the next football season. Having taken the time to learn the sport I have learned to enjoy it. Last I read it is the fastest growing sport in the country now.Forgot to put that as an option. Do people still watch that sport?Nascar.
Cracks me up to see racing called a "sport". Top class "athletes" and their continuous left turns. About as exciting as a batter stepping out of the box.February means watching actual athletes play an actual sport, hockey. The biggest pansy in the NHL would beat the crap out of the toughest guy in any other sport. Dudes get their jaw broken in seven places and only miss one shift. And as much as I love football and hockey will never supplant it, the Stanley Cup Playoffs are hands down the most exciting contests in all of sports. Every game is an absolute battle and the men left standing at the end are truly the toughest men you cold ever hope to be. Plus there are few off field shenanigans becasue they get their frustrations out on the ice.Forgot to put that as an option. Do people still watch that sportcompetition/race?Nascar.
Seriously?Nothing. The FF research season begins.

All of their shenanigans are off the field, unless they are playing field hockey.Plus there are few off field shenanigans becasue they get their frustrations out on the ice.
Couldn't have articulated my feelings about the NHL and it's players any betterCracks me up to see racing called a "sport". Top class "athletes" and their continuous left turns. Horse racing isn't a sport either. The sport I love, and follow/watch religiously, is there for me 365 days a year ... and that's Horse Racing.
Girls! Under the table money! An Eduction!College is so much more "real" than the NFL. College guys are playing for all the right reasons!
It is for the horses.phthalatemagic said:Horse racing isn't a sport either.otb_lifer said:The sport I love, and follow/watch religiously, is there for me 365 days a year ... and that's Horse Racing.
Ah yes, but would you feel that way as they drive the steel bolt into your temple because you shattered your ankle coming down the home stretch? It is for the horses.phthalatemagic said:Horse racing isn't a sport either.otb_lifer said:The sport I love, and follow/watch religiously, is there for me 365 days a year ... and that's Horse Racing.
Really? I find it overwhelming because of the length of the season and daily management needed. Esp, because I don't really like baseball.I play in a very serious MLB fantasy league and I actually (I know I know, it's a sin) find it more entertaining than fantasy football. Might be because I don't take it as serious, I dunno.
