After Week TWO what you like-hate about your draft? (1 Viewer)

Likes: In my two QB league I took Newton with my last pick. Not expecting many games like yesterday but still think he will fill the stat sheet. Took Tolbert late and he could be a TD machine. Also have Matt Stafford in my 2 leagues.

Dislikes: Michael Turner as my #1 RB in one league and the survivor pool, Turner does not look as explosive as the past and the Falcons seem to want to become a passing oriented team. Took S-Jax in another league after vowing not to because I was worried about injuries.

#10 out of 10 teams - like my top 4 - Mendenhall, Andre Johnson, Drew Brees, Vincent Jackson. Got Gronkowski late and he has been a big surprise. I was initially disappointed I didn't get J. Finley or Witten.

 
I LOVE Ben Tate on my teams. The uncertainty of Foster made him a big target for me in almost every league.

I HATE not waiting on QB and going Stafford. I have him as a backup, or I don't have him. I could have another good RB like Hightower or Wells or Tolbert, or a top TE like Witten. Need to trust my gut more on guys like him and just bite it and take them early.

 
Drafted #2 spot. Rice was nice there, but the real hit or miss came on the next 4 picks.

On my first 'turn' (2.11, 3.02), took Brady and Vjax. :thumbup:

On the second 'turn' (4.11, 5.02), took Deangello and Ingram. :thumbdown: .

Like: As this is a PPR league McCoy at 10th and Best in the 5th round is amazing. My receivers look solid, I was worried I was taking Jackson and Wallace too high in PPR leagues, but it looks like they'll be fine. Graham has been a success so far as a TE1. A.J. Green looks like a keeper late in the draft.

Dislike: Everyone told me to wait on a QB. I was debating between Ryan and Stafford and went with Ryan, and now I'm starting Kevin freaking Kolb. Neither have been a disaster so far, but..man...if I had gotten Stafford. Addai and Bush look like two duds in the middle of the draft as well. Probably should have passed over Jones-Drew for McFadedn or Megatron.

Still loving: Brady (screw u haters who say "never" go QB early); Megatron; Steve Smiff (been on my bench, but no more); Aaron Hernandez (hoping like crazy his knee is o.k.)

Like: (can't believe it, but...) Beanie!!!; McGahee (value, not expecting the world here)

Meh: Shonn Greene; MWTB ( through 2 weeks: 5/46/1......not so good, meet my bench for awhile)

Hate: DWill ($21 million?!?!?! Seriously??)

Pretty sure Dwill will be on many dislike lists. Just does not seem to have it.
 
Started off 2-0, but accidentally went all in on the Cowboys as I wound up with Romo, Miles and Felix Jones (not planned, not a Cowboys fan). Now I will pay fo it as all 3 of those are dinged. Couldn't really handcuff any of them - so here is to hoping Eli plays lights out the next few weeks; Tate or Tolbert continue to get touches; and Hines Ward discovers the fountain of youth.

What I hate:

Felix Jones (The moment I drafted him I regretted it)

Reggie Bush (Took a shot at the end of the 6th round PPR league still have not lost hope he will play plenty this year)

Mark Ingram (I love him but he is not getting the touches I thought he would)

I have Brandon Jacobs on my bench and i will move a WR for a RB. Time to go shopping.

 
Like: My WR's (Vincent Jackson, Reggie Wayne, Miles Austin), RB's (Turner, Foster, McGahee & Handcuffs)

Dislike:

I passed on Matt Stafford for Eli Manning

Passed on Rex Grossman when I had John Beck

Drafted McCoy, McFadden, Brady, Welker and Finley in my $300 league. 2-0 :thumbup:

Drafted Foster, Wallace, Rivers, Harvin and Lynch in my second league. Except for Wallace... :thumbdown:

Got A.J. Green at a good value in all 3 of my leagues and Newton off waivers in 2. :boxing:

I hit it out of the park in the first round of every draft this season: McFadden, McFadden, McFadden, McCoy, Ray Rice.

Also loving my Darren Sproles pick in both PPR/return yard leagues.

I'm 8-2, both of my losses coming with one team, where I passed on some very good RBs to take Romo at the end of a crazy QB run. I've learned my lesson - better to roll with a Cutler-ish QB and a great RB2 than Romo and someone like McGahee or Lee Evans.

Love - PPR Dynasty startup where I got Ray Rice at 1.12, Andre Johnson at 2.01, Jahvid Best at 5.01, Stevie John at 7.01, Hernandez at 8.12, & Santana Moss at 13.01.

In other leagues:

HATE - Not draft-related but I traded for Peyton Manning & Jamaal Charles before the season.

 
Like my WR corps in both of my main leagues (start 2 with flex option):

B. Marshall, Britt, Dez in one/ V-Jax, M. Wallace decent depth in the other.

I HATE my RB corps in both- have Fragile Felix and junk behind Mendenhall in one, deseparate for RBs in the other.

Also hate that I invested too much in Vick and Rodgers when I had moved Brady and Romo up to #3 and #6 in my rankings and KNEW that's where the better value was.

 
I really love my drafts this year....most of the mid-rounders I targetted and got have done great (Wells, Gronk, Hightower, Lloyd, Britt, Stafford)

The thing I've hated so far have been the injuries...Lloyd, SJax, Dez, Felix. I liked Starks (hated Grant) and wish I reached for a him a bit more... waited too long on him (there were guys in each league that reached a little higher than I thought he'd go based on ADP). Also, not liking Chris Johnson's start but he's had tough matchups and no training camp and I expect him to start going this week.

Like: Grabbing Tate early (10th round) to handcuff Foster. Also, AJ Green in the 16th round. Solid.

Hate: Nothing yet. Possibly making blount and BJGE my RB2's. Didn't hurt yesterday though.

Dislike: Colston, SJax, Santonio, Cooley and Lee Evans all out or hobbled. Chris Johnson slow to get into game shape and super sleeper Andre Roberts failing to wake up

Love: Aaron Hernandez,until about 10 minutes ago

Season's over before Week 2 MNF

 
Thought of another thing I hate -

drafted Ben Tate, Mike Tolbert and Delone Carter as backups to Ray Rice and Felix Jones. Thought for sure the owners of Arian Foster, Joseph Addai, and Ryan Mathews would be willing to trade me for one of them so I could add some value. Now I have all 3 just sitting on my bench as owners in that league are hesitant to trade. On the bright side - at least I can roll the dice on one of the 3 if Felix Jones misses time.

I hate leagues where people are afraid to trade. I'd really like to turn one of those 3 for a WR2 or WR3.

 
Loving that I took Forte as my #2 RB in all 3 of my drafts putting him anywhere for the #5 RB off the board to #10, not much to hate as between my 3 leagues i'm staring at 5-0 (bye in one this week) with 3 overall high scores and near the top with the others (record high scored to take me out of that spot this week in one.) Overall pretty happy so far.

I honestly would have been starting Tolbert over Felix both games so far. And in the future. Tolbert's a beast.

Hate:

That I took Romo and didn't draft a backup (10 team league)

My WR depth, out of the gate Roddy white and Brandon Marshall, then it falls to Meachem, Burres, Roy Williams (drafted MSW but dropped him for Deji Karim).
