AJ Feeley broken hand (1 Viewer)

Huh...maybe we should've held off on trading Holcomb :hophead:
That's the first thing that I thought too but it sounds like no big deal
According to PhiladelphiaEagles.com insider Dave Spadaro, A.J. Feeley broke the third metacarpal bone in his left hand during Thursday night's game, but said he would be fine to play as the No. 2 QB next Sunday in Green Bay. "It feels fine, actually," said Feeley. "It swelled up a little bit and that was it. I couldn't tell you how it happened. It could have been a helmet, I don't know. I'll be ready to go against Green Bay. It's not a big deal. It's my off hand." Feeley said he actually played a series with the broken bone and "it didn't hinder my throwing at all." Feeley completed 6 of 9 passes for 79 yards in his brief time on the field. He was sacked three times. ... Despite Feeley's insistence that he is fine, the team will send him to a hand specialist later this morning.

Quick question. Is Feeley the holder? If he is, then what impact will the hand have on his ability to be the holder for Akers?

Dirk Johnson, the punter, handled those duties last year but he is in danger of getting cut. The new aussie kid has been practicing holding and if he ends up making the team he was likely slated to do that...now moreso with the Feeley injury.

Watch the cuts. Not a great situation for Akers.
