Chiefs placed RB Akeem Hunt on injured reserve with an ankle injury.

Hunt suffered the injury in the season finale against the Broncos. The Chiefs also lost De'Anthony Thomas to a broken leg in that game. C.J. Spiller was once again re-signed in a corresponding move. Jan 2 - 1:11 PM

Anyone else just assume during the draft process last year that he was Kareem's brother? Akeem/Kareem, both played RB for midwest colleges. I had to be told they were not brothers a few times before I believed it.

I thought it was humorous after I realized it wasn't the one that mattered.  Bothered me at first however.  Just some Tuesday news to wake everyone up from the holiday festivities.

I can't believe they lost their 3rd string RB.
