Al Davis is just Misunderstood
Don't let the left side of the sports media do it to you. Don't jump on the "I hate Al Davis bandwagon". Don't be the one of the far to many to misunderstand Al.
People throw the word "Genius" around the football field as easy as you can buy a stick of gum (Steve Spurrier anyone?) but people forget so easily there have only been a rare few and the man in black leads the pack. And the reason people just want to strip him of that title - because he wants to do it his way. Eventhough he has been doing it his way since 1963.
As the sole power of the Oakland Raiders Al takes every move, good or bad, and lays it at his feet.

Don't shed a tear for Lane Kiffin. It is only his own fault that he did not have the savvy to understand what he was getting himself into. Look no further than Tony Sparano or Wade Phillips with the regime's they joined. They got it. Kiffin did not.
