The Colts could have used Haynesoworth, but they never go after troublemakers. I think they should gamble every once in awhile instead of letting NE swoop in every year for these guys.

Which explains why the Patriots haven't won a Super Bowl in 7 years, and you...well, you and your rep go without saying. The Patriots toy with this league the way I toy with the Shark Pool.
exactly.Washington has already paid him all of his bonus money, including a check for $21 million last spring. Per Shefter, his salary for 2011 is $5 million. The Patriots play multiple fronts, and Haynesworth is versatile enough to even play some end in some situations. I doubt he's a full-time, every-down player. I'm guessing they are aware of what Haynesworth is willing/unwilling to do, and if he turns out to be a #####, they cut him for nothing. Patriots lose a 5th round pick in 2013, which they regularly produce out of thin air every draft day anyways.
3 SB wins and a 16-0 season weren't really enough I guess.I was questionable with the Pats draft strategy this year.
Not anymore, the pats run a hybrid 3-4 they will often have a 4th lineman out and this move is perfect.
Get one of the best DTs in the league for peanuts. Ill never question Belichick again.
Im a Pats, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick fan. But I was completely baffled by their draft this year. Take two running backs not named Mark Ingram, a TE to replace Crumpler, some Oline and another CB.3 SB wins and a 16-0 season weren't really enough I guess.I was questionable with the Pats draft strategy this year.

Yep, the guy is a piece of ####, plain and simple, but Patriots fans will be defending the guy before long. Just wait.'Donnybrook said:I've hated Hayesworth with a passion since the day he did this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwxMRPTsYeo He has no character and I'm glad he went to the Pats.
Completely off topic, but it would be around 40-3. Pats dont need to throw downfield to win games, jets on the other hand cant throw downfield.Slightly off topic...if the Jets get Nnamdi Asomugha, what will the average score be in NYJ/NEP games?...7-3?![]()
Pats traded for Albert Haynesworth (TOPIC) to improve defense, Jets looking to sign Nnamdi Asomugha to improve Defense...asked (in a round about way) if the games between them would be low scoring because of improving defense...slightly off topicCompletely off topic, but its would be around 40-3. I am a bit of a Skins fan... but...I know what Was was thinking ... NO CHANCE WE LET HIM GO TO THE EAGLES!!That said, if I pull out my crystal ball, AH never suits up for NE and they ship him to PhiI wonder what the plan is here. Wilfork is the entrenched All-Pro NT in the 3-4.![]()
