Aldrick Robinson WR Washington Redskins (1 Viewer)

From Rotoworld:

According to CBS' Jason La Canfora, Pierre Garcon could be shut down for the season if his foot injury doesn't improve by the end of the Redskins' Week 10 bye.

Garcon has appeared in just three games all season thanks to a tear in his toe/foot. The Redskins are hoping that the injury will heal via simple rest, but there are some serious doubts about that now. If Garcon ends up needing surgery, he'll be lost for the year. Aldrick Robinson -- not Leonard Hankerson -- is starting at "X" receiver against the Panthers Sunday.

Aldrick is extremely quick, he has RG3 as his QB, and Shannahan doesn't trust Hankerson. I think Aldrick could be a great pick-up for the rest of the season.

I'm curious to get some insight this guy. Does he have the technical ability to be anything more than a situational deep threat? He definitely has game-breaking speed and there is an opportunity for him in Wash.

Situational deep threat with lots to learn. Earlier this year he had a deep pass bounce off his face mask with nobody around. It was an easy huge TD.

Worth a spot at the end of the bench if you have room.

The targets between Morgan, Garcon and Robinson are all really close. Robinson looked great taking over for Garcon in week 1. I do remember that drop though in another early game. Garcon has been playing low snaps though which is what bothers me.

The thing that bothers me about wash receivers is the sheer number of passes in each game.

I have an hard time feeling confident in any receivers with that low of passes thrown a game.

Anyone else feel this all boom or bust based on one big play?

Skins homer here. I wouldn't count on him this season for anything. I have picked him up in a couple leagues though because the potential is definitely there. I don't see RG3 being allowed to run this much for the future. Bear in mind they're disguising the fact that the O-line is relatively porous. Once he has a legitimate line in front he'll be running less (and throwing more). Strictly my opinion.
