Alex Smith is fantasy gold vs Tenn in the playoffs (1 Viewer)

Ok, maybe not, but doesn’t Smith in theory at least offer a pretty decent upside in a game against a team that can score, but has the 25th ranked pass defense in the league? The Chiefs running game has been stuck in neutral as of late and Smith has been playing fairly well. With guys like Matt Barkley + Trevor Siemian putting up decent numbers vs Tenn in the past few weeks, isn’t it possible that Smith has his best game of the season in week 15?

From Rotoworld:

"Alex Smith is worth a look as a Week 15 streamer against a Titans pass defense that has permitted eight straight top-12 fantasy quarterback weeks while ranking No. 25 in pass-defense DVOA. Tennessee has given up at least 315 passing yards in three of its last four games, including to Matt Barkley (316) and Trevor Siemian (334Smith has played his best football of the season over the last month, however, and his arsenal is fully stocked with Jeremy Maclin healthy. If Smith is going to have a big game this year, this will probably be it."

I dunno.. the possibility of zero degree temps have me concerned.

Anyone else?I have T. Hill, but Im picking up T. Gabriel everywhere I can.

Hes indoors.no Julio.bad opponent.

I predict it will be pretty low scoring.

Titans will try to control clock on the ground.

Just my opinion.

No.

He was on the radar last week against OAK's lax D and went for 13 points.

Cracked 20 points ONCE (Week 11, barely) since Week 1.

This game's gonna be ugly, lots of Ware and West.

220/1/1

I'm streaming Flacco over him. Even Siemian is a better play imo.
You know Siemian could have a huge game.

He's playing the Patriots....meaning, this game will be close till the end, no blowout.

If it's close, more passing. New England is good against the run, really not good against the pass.

Broncos have no running game and two really great receivers.

It's funny......I have been reading rankings all week....and they'll have Siemian ranked #20 or worse....and then they'll have his two receivers ranked in the top 10 or so....How the F does that work? HA! Ridiculous

Interesting.  I have smith in RT now over Winston and flacco.

My reasoning:

flacco wont need to do much as philly offense sucks and Balt d is elite.  He has very little upside albeit a safe floor this week imo.

Winston is playing Dallas and that game script projects to be slow with Dallas playing to dominate TOP.  Also Tb defense has been lights out so Winston doesn't have to do much.

Smith's arrow has been pointing up lately.  Tyreek hill and kelce have emerged a big time weapons as well as ware out of the backfield.  Tenn can score on KC and tenn has a terrible pass defense and a pretty good run d.

While it definitely makes me puke in my mouth a little when I type this, I believe smith offers me the greatest upside of these 3 for this week.

Semian is on my wire and he may very well be the play here.  But belichek vs a young qb scares me.

I can't tell you how many times over the years someone has proclaimed that Smith could be fantasy gold in the playoffs and come Sunday you get 152 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. Avoid.

I'm very close to pulling the trigger on Siemian myself over Stafford, Bradford (Flacco avail too --but think that game will be relatively low scoring).
