C - Ronny Paulino - Everyone's favorite sleeper at catcher has been terrible. Hovering around the Mendoza line all year, now finally up to .220

1B - Pujols - Concensus #1 pick hovering around 10th ranked at his position. Recent hot streak has him up to .275 and leaves Paul Konerko threatening to take over this spot.

2B - Robinson Cano - Flat out awful. In what was supposed to be the weakest position going into the season, 2B has produced more than it's fair share of performers this year. In my league Cano, who was the 2nd 2B taken, ranks 22nd

3B - Garrett Atkins - What happened here? Top 3 at is position in just about every league last year has turned in a stat line of .227/3/18 in 2007. He's being outproduced by the like of Eric Chavez, Adrain Beltre and Brandon Inge

SS - Michael Young - Texas signed this guy to a 7 year deal during the off season and will probably regret every day of it's duration when it's all said and done.

OF - Bobby Abreu - The numbers aren't awful, but they aren't Bobby Abreu numbers.

OF - Jermaine Dye - Chased a MVP last year, just now starting to warm up.

OF - Alfonso Soriano - .288/4/9 with 7 SBs is not what the Cubs invisioned when they forked over $136m over 8 years.

SP - Carlos Zambrano - What's wrong with this guy? A) Over used B)contract concerns C)mental midget? I'll take D) all of the above.

SP - Barry Zito - Even though the Giants way overspent on getting him, I thought the move to the NL would do him some good. 4-5 with a 4.69 ERA suggests otherwise

SP - Jeremy Sowers - Went 7-4 last year, but low K rate has really caught up with him. Now sitting at 1-4 with a 6.29 ERA. Too bad he doesn't face KC all of the time.

RP - Mariano Rivera - Is this the end? Long time great is having all sorts of problems closing games and there hasn't been that many to close. Only has 3 saves and his ERA is 6.32

Not too fair to bash poor Jeremy Sowers. Anyone expecting much was asking for trouble. Mike Mussina would have been a better choice.

For guys who play in OBP leagues, this 3B was taken higher in drafts than in other formats....Morgan Ensberg. He was a bust last year due to injury (and a horrid May) but at least in April he was the old Morgan. This year? This year he's just sucked donkey balls from the get go.

I'm about to cut him.

Carlos Delgado

Scott Kazmir

These guys at the worst were drafted in the 1st 7 rounds of most leagues and they have played terribly.

Non injury edition.
Got it. Then I'd put Ervin Santana in. Reasonable expectations of 14-15 wins with decent ratio's and 160 k's coming into the season and he'll need a miracle just to keep his rotation spot now.
He was notoriously bad on the road in previous years so we knew that was going to be a problem, but to this extreme? I forgot to sit him yesterday in Detroit.

Sexson, Sexson, Sexson!!!! I know the expectations weren't super high for this guy but this is ridiculous. He's hitting well under .200 and 5 hrs (2 of which were on the first 2 days of the season). He's just flat out lost the ability to hit.

I think I have to take Sowers off of the list and add another young starter that showed a little bit of promise last year.Anthony Reyes is a disaster this year. He was probably drafted in most leagues after a pretty good post season run and worthy of bust status. After losing tonight to the Washington Nationals, Reyes is now 0-8 in 9 starts and has an ERA of 6.08 :lmao:

You guys have damn near noted my whole team :hot:

Pujols

Dye

Damon

LaRoche :hifive:

B. Myers

Chone Figgins

I've renamed my squad The Donkeys....for obvious reasons
