Questions about players Position Eligibility 2025 and beyond specific to my roster (1 Viewer)

I'm just now entering my 5th fantasy baseball season. I'm not a newbie but not far removed.
I'm recognizing that the baseball has a lot more volatility in Position Eligibility than I realized. Something that never mattered in Dynasty Football.

Ex: Jazz Chisholm was meant to be my future 2B to eventually replace an aging Jose Altuve 2B.
Jazz no longer plays 2B... he's 3B/OF in YAHOO! format.
Jose Altuve 2B just said he'd be open to playing OF... I'd be surprised of the move but UGH.

I don't follow baseball. I don't watch games I might catch an inning in the car driving at times.
I built my roster acquiring top ranked talent.... with emphasis on balanced roster. Best ranked player at a position.
I've been NAIVE to think that the position I start the player in... is actually the position that they play.

That's when I started realizing. I don't know what positions these guys play.
Who is at risk of getting moved or losing multi-spot status.

Elly De La Cruz, Gunnar Henderson are both 3B/SS on my roster.
But I don't know who players where or when and how often and what position is likely best considering team, line-up etc.

Mookie Betts is ranked as a top 2B. But will that continue. If I traded for him and as a 2B need. I'd be disappointed if he doesn't continue 2B eligibility.

Here's my Roster and Yahoo Position eligibility.
Any players that I should worry about losing eligibility?
Any key top 50 or 100 players having a potential change to at least watch out for?

I don't want to trade for a 2B that will eventually not be 2B. Is Mookie Betts at risk or some other guy? Jackson Holliday? is he 2B?
I have to unload players, made trades or cuts soon.
If Gunnar, Elly, Caminero, Jazz and Westberg are all suddenly only 3B players. That would really impact my roster balance.
Altuve become OF. I'd have no 2B and looking to Lawlar as a SS which is a big drop from expectations.

Roster Resource on Fangraphs.com is your friend. It's a bit speculative now during the off-season but it's updated regularly.

You should also review the position eligibility requirements of your league.

Altuve to the OF is contingent on Bregman resigning. Even if that happens Altuve should see enough action at 2B to retain eligibility for 2026.

Gunnar & Elly shouldn't have 3B eligibility this year. Neither played a game @ third last year. Mookie started 12 games at 2B, depending on your league requirements, he may have eligibility.

Baseball Reference fielding stats will show you how many games a player started a game at a specific position, and how many games they finished at game at a specific position.
