All-Request IDP Roundtable on the Audible (2 Viewers)

I really want to know if you would sell Tyvon Branch in a keeper league while his value is high. Will Mitchell hurt his production this year?
I think the secondary played well enough last year that there's no rush to use Mitchell outside of the big nickel role he played last year. But, yes, DBs are fickle. Unless you're in a shallow league (start 1 DB), then moving Branch for more stable value at another position is the smart play. Last time this year, we were discussing the upside of Branch and Scott among others. The year before we were saying to look out for Yeremiah Bell. This year, there are a couple of rookies, Patrick Chung, LaRon Landry, Chris Harris, Sean Jones and whomever becomes the SS du jour in Buffalo that could have regular top ten weekly value.

All four have every-down talent, all four were seemingly coveted by the teams that selected them and all four are arguably in line for the most advantageous roles in their scheme. I'd say McClain is 80% or better to approach his ceiling, with the others less than 50% to hit theirs. But all four have a reasonable chance to have 90-95+ solo seasons if things break right.
Yep, that is how I see them as well with the respective percentiles that you come up with. Lee still has Brookings to contend with and that conjures up thoughts of Anthony Spencer and Greg Ellis. I jumped on Spencer too early and ended up cutting him before he blew up. So I'm leery of pulling the trigger on Lee with Brookings still around because I think the situation could linger. San Diego situation has a history of utilizing rookie LBs early so Butler is interesting especially if he wins a starting job early. Yet my original question of the rookie LBs with the BEST SHOT to become top 5/10 IDPs goes back to McCLain.
I don't see any top ten potential at the DL position in the short term. Morgan and Graham have scouting reports that suggest they could be top ten players (45-10) at some point, but history and likely playing time would make betting on either this season extremely risky. I like Hughes a lot, but that dual upside is less likely for him in the long term. Corey Wootton is an interesting prospect, as is Carlos Dunlap, but I think the chances of either growing into a perennial top ten player are remote. JPP is a wild card, but I doubt he'll ever do enough against the run to crack the top ten either
.That is my take on the rookie D-Linemen but I do like the 'talent' of Hughes but I dont' see an opportunity unless Mathis or Freeny go down and then it will be too late to get him unless you're tops on the waiver wire. Thanks for the response and good show!
