We have an IDP conversation going in the Shark Pool about our coverage for the coming year. As many of you may already know Jene is unfortunately not going to be contributing on the IDP side this year. Thus we are revamping our coverage a little to ensure our customers continue to get the best possible work on that side of the ball. Please stop in and leave your two cents worth. I'll post what I shared with Joe privately:

1.  Coaching changes and scheme impact/position changes - you saw my thread on that.

2.  Pre-draft primer - what happened in Free Agency that affects how the team goes into the draft - what is current depth and what is likelihood of looking for help at each position/group?  Larkin's recent piece was good structure but very, very light in content - he only discusses about 10 players.

3.  Training camp/late pre-season report - who it looks like it getting the most reps and/or impressing, focusing on the newer developments - we're all keenly aware Luke Kuechley is good, but who's playing Will?  Did Thomas Davis move to SAM and crush his IDP value?

4.  Depth chart/snap count changes - this is heavily covered in the Eyes of the Guru but it's spotty coverage - some teams aren't mentioned at all

5.  Late season stashes/scheme change candidates to get a jump on #1 in above in the fall when no one is looking.  Who might get fired?  Who might get promoted?  What players might move on (Chandler Jones would have been great speculation to move to a 4-3 team) and see themselves more valuable (AJ Klein) next year?  Who might see a spot open up in front of them (Vince Williams)?
