All-time cereal draft (1 Viewer)

4.8 Special K
 The first true geriatric selection. I have never known anyone to eat this tasteless stuff, except for my grandmother.

Too many quality choices to be settling for the K at this spot.
That and Lucky Charms are the only cereals my wife and I have in the house. :bag:
if you resemble your avatar in any way...i believe you. rock on, K-man.(lucky charms are great though)

Well I am at work and will checking this thread for the next 6 hours. If anyone needs a pinch hitter to pick for them today. Just send a pm and I'll be here is a few. Does anyone have a cereal eating smilie?

Rikishi needs to clarify on which Chex he is taking.

In the meantime, with pick 5.6, I'm taking Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs.

Screw PB Cap'n Crunch. I want my PB cereal coming from the PB experts.
So after I make this pick I think to myself, "Ya know, I've never actually even had this cereal". So I decided to stop by the store after lunch and pick up a box. I figure a dozen handfuls would make a nice little dessert. Well upon my arrival to the end of the cereal aisle, I find that this stuff is peanut butter and chocolate.A surprise, but quite the pleasant one. Sounds fabulous. However, at this point I was so dead set on PB cereal that I had to get a box of PB Cap'n. (NOTE: THIS IS NO WAY AN ADMISSION THAT PB CAP'N CRUNCH IS BETTER OR EVEN ON THE SAME LEVEL AS REESE'S PUFFS. THIS IS A CRAVING-BASED DECISION ONLY).

By the way, the realization that Reese's is PB and chocolate throws a huge riff into my draft strategy, but unfortunately I can't discuss it any further at this time.

<kiper>keerock's got a nice squad being built. lucky charms in the 2nd was incredible. cap'n crunch can take over a meal. cocoa puffs and quisp round out the current group nicely.a big-play cereal could go a long way toward keerock's persuit of the golden spoon.</kiper>

were you aware that Reese's Peanut Butter Cups contain chocolate too? that should've been your first clue.

i take all of the above back.its not looking good after the draft of the already signed Corn Pops.this could be a Minnesota-type draft disaster

That is funny. This draft is affecting people's lives here.

The commercials would have been better if they would have named it "Nut-N-Youfiltywhore" but they're still very memorable as Nut-N-Honey

Damn this is good ####.Updated personal list:1. Cinnamon Toast Crunch2. PB Cap'n Crunch3. Waffle Crisp4. Fruity Pebbles5. ######### (yet to be drafted)

I think I'm gonna go ahead and handcuff my #1 stud Apple Jacks with his back up Apple Cinnamnon Cheerios

You're screwing it all up. Why waste a spot in the cupboard with a knock-off? You had a good thing going.

I've got unbelievable footage of a superior product trying to find a grocery shelf near you. A former Pro-bowler ala Jeff George that is looking for a team, this cereal was discontinued but burned brightly, like Bo Jackson, in its day--DOUBLE DIP CRUNCHI represent the cereal so please send any offers to me as agent.

I never thought of Special K as a "geriatric" cereal. I always thought of it as a THE womans cereal. It was a shrewd pick to lock up the Female segment of the market, Hoards of women will be flocking to see this team, just to see Special K play.

What if Apple Jacks goes down, like out of production or something?Apple Cinnamon Cheerios is right there ready to be plugged right in to the starting lineup.

 Its an 'All Time" draft. We are assuming that every cereal is in its prime. You do not have to draft for potential recalls.

Oh, do you think if I go back and delete it that anyone will notice?

Why do people insist on doing this?

Idiot Boxer up.By the way, I am leaving at 4 EST and will not be making any picks until Sunday night or Monday morning.Don't want to have anyone draft for me either because that takes the fun out of it and seriously we are in no hurry here.

no one can predict recalls.that's never a good strategy.

They didn't have the sack to join the draft so they present their one good idea (or in the case of this jackass, mediocre idea) to make themselves feel good. In other words, they are idiots.

Berry Kix? Grape Nuts? King Vitamin?...the end is near....C'mon...there are still a couple of high-value, variety picks on the board... (okay, slight props if its old skool King Vitamin with the picture of the old man on the box...before they went cartoon)

Going back to the picks from my childhood.

King Vitamin
I have to assume this is a handcuff for Capn Crunch, as they are just about identical.  "King Vitamin, have breakfast with the king, King Vitamin"
Anyone else remember the actor who played King Vitaman who looked just like Mike Schmidt? Every time my friends and I went to a Phillies game and Schmitty came up to bat we started hollaring about King Vitaman. The people around us at the Vet had NO idea what we were talking about.Solid pick at this point IMO.

I'm afraid you're right.I will say this about Grape Nuts though. Throw some milk and sugar on them and then microwave the bowl for about 30 seconds. Very tasty.
