All-time cereal draft (1 Viewer)

I've heard recommendations more than once on this one. It was a little before my time but seems to have an almost cult following -

My first look into this thread, and I cannot believe my favorite cereal as a kid hasn't been picked yet.

Does it still have to be available to qualify?
No, as it's an all-time cereal draft.

No CW post yet? Like Granola for the bowl. :hophead:
Dude, seriously, be quiet please.
Nice of you to remember me, big guy.But seriously, the fact that shredded wheat hasn't been taken yet really make me doubt the skill of the drafters.

I'm just asking you refrain from the overwhelming temptation to talk about cereals yet undrafted.

Next 5:8.2 Idiot Boxer 8.3 Keerock 8.4 IndividuallyWrapedKraftSingles 8.5 shuke 8.6 rikishiboy

Tempted to go old school, but I'm going to fill out my Disney Cereal portion of the squad:

Kellogg's Disney Mud and Bugs

This should finish out both my chocolate cereal and marshmellow cereal depth chart

This is the kind of cereal flashback I was hoping for... :excited:
I received some scouting agent advice on that one.
Well then you received some sage advice, my friend!Given your current lineup, this cements a top 5 finish in my book...unless you really F up the last 2 picks.

7.09 Kellog's Disney Mickey Magix Cereal

All the skills of Lucky Charms, just not the name recognition. Does have the Disney machine supporting the effort. Added bonus, sugar crystals on the toasted oats that turn the milk blue.
By this logic, Danny Wuerfel has all the skills of Dan Marino. This Magix you speak of could not hold Lucky Charms jock.

Never heard of this, but saw the picture of Timon and Pumba on the box, and I like the name. Nothing like dirt and insects for breakfast.

Now we're really into the dregs...

I'm not suggesting they are as good as Lucky Charms (maybe I am), but they are certainly not as divergent as Marino and Wuerffel.I only expect parents with younger children out there to appreciate the last two picks, as they are relative newcomers to the cereal marketplace and many of you may not have had the opportunity to sample them, unless you have some younguns.

Picking a disney cereal should be grounds for automatic disqualification. Picking 2 disney cereals should be grounds for a painful death.

Well, I've thought long and hard about this one. This cereal has been staring at me in the face since round 3, but I've been holding off after taking Cinnamon Toast Crunch in round 1. I was afraid of being too deep at one position, but the value is way too high to skip on this masterpiece-in-a-bowl any longer.

 Good pick. I've been looking at that one also, but with the apple cinn. cheerios I felt I was repeating myself too much.

This is one of the three I still have on my draft board. Very good cereal, tastes better than the original in my opinion and I don't think it has a clone from another manufacturer.Never should have lasted to round eight.

nice.I actually like this better than your #1.

And it's different enough to ignore the Cinnamon similarity.

I will again be picking for ffweasel. When my turn arrives I have a pick that will shock and suprise everyone. It is the cereal that will put this team over the top!!!!

Everyone should just throw in the towel now. You stand no chance after my next pick.
Weren't you smack talking like this before the Kaboom-Mueslix selection as well?Let's hope for your sake (and that of ffweasel) that you are right this time.Everytime someone has spouted off prior to selection, I have been underwhelmed.

There oughta be a rule that you have to go more than two minutes between posts touting a "shocking and surprising" cereal that you have yet to pick. There oughta be a law...

I just found this, and what I find ironic is that 2 of my all-time favorite cereals haven't been drafted. Will review everyone's "teams" later. Yum.

Just wait til my next pick. I had it slotted for round 8 but had to go with the SOD that was still available.

I have found another blow the lid off of the competition cereal. My picks at 8.10 and 9.1 will end this competition!!P.S. - Kaboom/Mueslix were great picks!!

I like the Wheaties pick at 2.10...don't think I've ever had any other cereal to tell the truth so that might be why.... :bag:
