All-time cereal draft (1 Viewer)

don't think I've ever had any other cereal to tell the truth so that might be why.... :bag:
umm... what??
Honestly don't think I've ever had any other cereal....maybe at a hotel "free breakfast" type deal I might have grabbed something else that wasn't wheaties but not that I can remember for sure.

Yes, see my entire draft!

Fruit Brute: An older cereal but a classic. I get a late round player named brute who's friends with all the other monsters. From the war room
Nice pick. Not great flavor, but does have the added bonus of appearing in a number of Quentin Tarantino flicks.
What kind of age range do we have going here? I'm 32 and until my draft prep, I had never heard of a lot of these cereals (Fruit Brute, Freakies, etc.)

Is this thread having an affect on anyone else? My wife looked at me funny when I poured a bowl of Fruit Loops after dinner tonight. I have never in my life had a bowl of cereal after 5:00 PM before.

Not to mention until today I hadn't bought a box of Fruit Loops in my entire life I don't think.

I was at the store last night and saw Chocolate Lucky Charms and immediately thought of this thread. I was tempted to buy them but held off. Anyone have them yet?

37 and I remember having both Freakies and Fruit Brute. But I'd venture to say I'm in the top 1 or 2 percentile of my age bracket when it comes to cereal consumed over the coarse of a lifetime. (still a staple for weekend mornings and midnight snacks) :bag: There is another personal nostalgia grabber out there along the lines of Freakies, possibly without the cult following, but I remember having the refrdgerator magnet that came inside the box for a number of years. aside: Best toy surprise?Baking soda powered submarine (Cap'n Crunch) ?

OK. I'm a bigger fan of Fruity Pebbles and Trix, though.

I like Fruity Pebbles and Fruit Loops about the same. This hasn't been mentioned, but I'd like to add this .I can distinctly remember the Fruity Pebbles boxes being smaller than the Fruit Loops boxes. With a few kids in the family, this was a real setback, because after Mom would shop, if she got Fruity Pebbles the box would be gone ASAP but we got a few extra bowls out of the Fruit Loops.

Only 2 picks left and I've got 3 cereals on my draft board that are round 5 material. This is going to be difficult.

:D Oh, but a bowl of Fruity Pebbles definitely weighed more than a bowl of Fruit Loops. Those holes in the middle take up too much space.

Good point

3MTA3 - In the future, if you're not going to take this type of thing seriously, please don't get involved. Weetabix? I wouldn't be surprised if they're on waivers before this draft is over.p.s. just figured out your user name

Not so fast Mr. Scooby-Doo cereal drafter! Your entire draft?
Duke, I'm probably the only one in the forum who doesn't know what that means, but since you were talking to me I should probably ask what it is saying? As far as I know you're asking for a reply and it would be rude of me not to.
