So? Fitz has averaged more yards per catch in his career than Boldin.Do you get points in your league for YAC? I've never played in a league that gives points for that.
Exactly what i was thinking while posting. And all yardage leagues give points for yac yards=rec yards. im not taking sides here... just adding some info that was not presented.
Of course, but Fitz has averaged more yards per catch, and thus more fantasy points for yardage per catch, so it doesn't really matter if Boldin gets more YAC or not.

When i see YAC yards...i think, "Why wasn't he tackled?"Is Boldin...
faster?
more elusive?
what routes is he running?
what coverage does Fitz open for him?
YAC yards can lead to many interpretations of talent/situation.
Boldin doubled Fitzs YAC yards. Not simply 50 to a 100, but 223 to 504. Very large amount.
On the other side Fitz has a higher yards per catch #. Meaning he runs deeper routes vs Boldins intermediate routes that are converted into longer gains.
Watch any Cardinals game and you will see why Boldin has so much more YAC. He is fantastic in space--quick, strong and tough. Kind of a cross between Ward & TO.
Fitz isn't all that good after the catch, but he can get open down the field so he has a higher YPC.
Arizona looked poopy tonight and hopefully things are going to be better going forward, but yet again Boldin who consistently gets taken after Fitz in redrafts and dynasty shows he is just as good as Fitz. This as mentioned before is to not knock Fitz who is a great player, but more to just give Boldin the props he deserves.
I love Fitzgerald and I'm a Pitt Panther fan, but I think Boldin is better. Of course, I've also claimed that the Cards have 2 of the top 3 receivers in the NFC.
