Amari Cooper vs Jalen Ramsey (1 Viewer)

Thoughts on how Cooper will fare against this top DB?  Will he get shadowed the entire game?  He doesn't move into the slot so I don't see him creating separation that way.  How has Cooper done against top DB's in his career. I think you see the questions i'm asking.

Dallas has the #1 passing offense in the league and they will be behind in this game and they need to win.  Unfortunately, I think Gallup and Cobb receive most of the attention while Cooper gets modest numbers.  Maybe he ends up with a stat line of: 5-47-0

I only have him in a 12 team league so it’s not even a question for me. He’s in my lineup. I don’t think Ramsey is playing at a Dion Sanders level right now.

If you have Cooper it’s unlikely you have better options so you’ve got to roll the dice.

that said, iirc Ramsey doesn't cover one player & they’ll move Cooper around a lot.

bonus: AC has been better at home (when healthy)

fearless forecast: 5/87/1

Depends who you have on your bench. If you have a guy like AJ Brown then maybe you have a decision to make.

I've over analyzed in the past and been burned, so in these scenarios I typically just start the guys who got me there. No regerts.

Saw some stat that Troy Hill as been even more effective than Ramsey since he joined.  The Rams have been blowing up passing games since.  That being said I do think Gallup and Cooper will get theirs today.

If not for Mike Evans being injured I would have strongly considered benching Cooper for Diontae Johnson.

AJ Brown would be in for me over Cooper. But the vast majority of us shouldn't even think too much about it.

IMO, my decision is much more difficult. I need to start TWO of these players in a non-ppr league (Cooper, Mack & Parker).  For most of the season it was always Cooper and Mack.  Then you throw in some bye weeks and and injury to Mack.  I had a decent bench, who I'm not mentioning here (not worth a starting spot in the playoffs) but I was able to pickup Parker late in the season.  It's a good problem to have, but obviously need to make that final call.

An excellent question for the AC forum. 💡

(but I’d probably go Cooper/Parker if PPR, Cooper/Mack if non-PPR ;)  )
