**** Amazing Race #27 **** (1 Viewer)

Watching Justin drop a load in his pants and cry for 55 minutes was classic   . The only improvement would have been elimination.

I can't even... I just can't.

The Chinese did everything they could to screw the green team but friggin Krista can't dive beyond 4 feet.

stupid cab ruined it
This is the aspect of the show that I have the biggest problem with. I'm fine with people messing themselves up by not reading the clues, misreading road signs and/or simply not being able to navigate the world. But, when you lose out because some yahoo cabbie wanted the fare and has no idea where he's going, it's just wrong.

The only thing I can think of is they provide cabs at the locations with all of the drivers aware of where they are going.

Guy is worse than **** Vermeil. He treated Diana like crap as well this leg. You can see how he treats her in life when she mentioned the kiss/apology in the cab he about rolled his eyes like it was nothing. His half ### apology to her than was BS. Hope she gets rid of him.

I've only been watching a few seasons, but to me, that's a large part of what can separate a good team from a bad team. Your cabbie doesn't know where he's going? Know your cabbie knows before you get in. Worried? Get out. Etc. All the Green Team's trouble this leg was their own doing. Not figuring out where to go before getting in a cab. Not following the clue properly to get on the right boat.

Watched it again with my nephew and notices this too. Unless it was highly edited, Green Team never asked anyone on the street or people around them where the street was. Ironically, unless it was edited again, the Cheerleaders did not do this with their cabbie before the end.

Krista couldn't see where ALL THE OTHER TEAMS were coming up with fish and just go to that freakin' spot?! everyone else got it on the first try I think, and she took 5 tries?! ugh. Green Team has this in the bag.

Which is better, seeing Justin NOT win the Amazing Race or watching Justin crying at the finish? Trick question, it's BOTH!

:goodposting: thought for sure they were setting us up with them being "behind".. until they got to the last challenge. ...

LOVED the reaction of the other racers.. jumping up and down and :hifive: each other when they saw the winning team was NOT going to be Justin.

Then when Justin came up the path they gave them the golf clap. :lmao:

I was rooting for the Green Team (apparently I'm the only one) based on their deserving it after dominating the Race. Happy with the winners, though, as they were super-likable and one of the few couples that never fought. Expect to see the Greens on the next alumni season.

Taxi drama left such a bad taste at the beginning. Justin got Logan's taxi to leave and screwed them too after botching his own cab. The way the newscasters reacted was terrible too. No one there to explain the right rules. Ugly and awful.

Needs to be fixed soon by the show for future seasons.
Agree with you here and hope it's fixed somehow. Luckily it didn't seem to affect the outcome. Uber-dooshy paparazzi team came in what appeared to be hours after the others. Could have had problems with the Adirondack chairs, but mostly they seemed to lose because they thought Africa was a country.

A good way to end the season. Can't complain about the winners as they were very consistent and didn't make any big mistakes that I can recall. The dooshiness came out last night in the green team and it bit them. So, screw them. Be nice to people and good things happen. He will have to live with, for the rest of his life that a $100 could have turned into a million dollars. That is a great investment but he chose poorly. Still can't fathom what the girl sees in him. Gawd!

Too bad the cheerleaders weren't there but a deserving team did win.

As far as the taxis go, I don't think being able to take someone's else's taxi is a good thing.

Green team was obviously the strongest team. It's like the Patriots losing the Super Bowl after being undefeated. They had to take a bus all the way to Manhattan and still came pretty close. It's too bad they couldn't figure out a way to get to JFK area where there a bunch of taxis. I assume the rules won't let them try to hitchhike?

It was really a bonehead move to not keep that taxi there.i don't feel that bad for them. Second still gets 25K and they had all the other winnings on the individual legs.

I was rooting for them as well since pretty much all of the other teams were against them. I kinda viewed them as a sort of underdog.

That being said, it was pretty stupid to be a cheap ### with the cab driver. Especially when they were playing with someone else's money.

Both really :goodposting: s. He might have thought that he needed to keep some money back in case they needed it for further transport, but it appeared that he was just being petulant by not giving the cabbie the extra money. For a team that generally played so smartly, it was a huge and obvious blunder.

What are the rules as regards hitchhiking or asking for someone to call them a cab?

Both the Green team and the Bickersons ended the way they started - one crying and the other fighting with each other.

It was great to see the nice team win.

Besides, the green Team won so many legs, they came away with plenty of prizes.

Not sure I can make it though millennial amazing race.
I hear you. Why did they have to change a good thing? First they do some kind of singles thing and now this. I can also definitely say that I would not recognize any of those people out in public. Disappointing.

I will watch out of habit if nothing else. Never heard of any of them with the exception of the magic trick guy, but my son is familiar with Rooster Teeth, so I guess we'll root for those 2 teams for now. Only team that was truly annoying in the first episode were Cole and his mom. The sooner they are gone the better.

Scary thing is that all of the challenges looked pretty simple compared to past seasons and many of the teams seemed to be really struggling. I imagine we're going to see a good number of truly lost teams and perhaps penalties due to skipping challenges this season. Not the brightest bunch of contestants for sure.

The Friday night time slot has killed our enjoyment. We can never seem to catch it. We loved the Sunday Night time slot after 60 Minutes. We tried the 1st season on Friday Night and missed a few shows, the last one we could never seem to find it or catch up once we fell behind.

Love the show, will try to watch it.

No DVR?

That leg was great. Looked like so much fun. I kinda thought it would be non-elimination because it seems like it is on some of the tougher ones.

There's no way that was Phil on that cliff peak early in the show.

This season started slow... but lately has been very entertaining. .. the episide in the alps was great.. with many  moments

This week in Armenia has had many  moments.

Why did Tyler and Cory turn into jerks all of a sudden?
:goodposting:  Yeah it is amazing when the race brings out people's true colors. I always find it funny when teams that have been running at the front hit adversity and then start bickering with each other .Up until that point they have been bragging about how well they have got along. Then other teams like the dancers fight the whole race.

Tyler and Corey have been the good natured, fun loving guys until the last few legs. Then the claws came out.

I thought Burnie and Ashley got along very well and didn't bite each other's head off even when they thought they might be eliminated.

This has still been the friendliest season in AR history. Usually there are teams fighting with each other or out to get each other. Most of the teams this season actually helped each other out. Dana is the one #####y exception, but she just rags on Matt, not the other teams..

I would agree with you up until the past few episodes. Tyler and Corey have been passive/agressive about it, but they really were gunning to get the frisbee guys out and didn't want to see Burnie and Ashley in the final leg.

Editing through a curveball this time.
:goodposting:   Seemed to be a clear "making drama where there was none" and that Burnie and Ashley would be there.  I was so shocked when it wasn't them that I rewound and watched again.  All I could figure was that they got a bit lost at the pit stop, since they were otherwise clearly ahead.

Yeah, they've been my favorites until recently, but I"m rooting for mother/son at this point.

We were pulling for Frisbee boys, but now pulling for Shelly/Cole.

I didn't dislike Burnie/Ashley, but they never seemed to crack a smile the entire season.

Wow, I didn't see that coming.  It looked like it would either be the mother / son (#comeback kids) or Tyler / Cory.  For as well as T/C did all race, they really sucked the big one on this leg.  I was really impressed with Dana's job on that final challenge.  Well deserved win.

Girl killed that roll out the barrel.

Huge props to Sheri and Cole. They were probably predicted to be one of the first few to be eliminated. Are they the furthest Mom/Son or Father/Daughter team ever? Sheri kicked butt the whole race.

Yeah, she was terrific.  I didn't expect to like them, but they were a strong and positive team.  Maybe they'll be back on an all-stars edition.  They have to be a fan favorite.

Nice Karma moment to have Tyler and Cory finish third on the final leg. They were so worried about eliminating the frisbee guys and Burnie/Ashley to set themselves up with their ideal (read weak) competition for the final three and then they just didn't deliver when it mattered most.

Was rooting for Bernie and Ashley the whole race, so was disappointed to see them eliminated last week.  Dana showed she is very hot-headed throughout the season.  No way I could personally put up with that long-term, but there's no denying that the dancers essentially ran a perfect leg in the finals.

Great final leg for Nada (as in no personality) and Matt despite not retaining their cab. I was rooting for Sheri and Cole but at least they got 2nd. I was tired of Tyler&Korey by the end.

I don't watch a single show on CBS so I also am not hit with ads for the show as much as when I used to see it all day during the football games to watch later that same night.
