I know it's early, but one thing I always do when considering a trade or any roster move, is what kind of teams will they be facing during my league's playoffs.

Here are some easy and difficult matchups in playoff weeks:

Week 14

Favorable:

Minnesota (@ Det.)

Cincinnati (home vs. Oak)

Tennessee (@Houston)

Green Bay (@SF)

San Francisco (home vs. GB)

Seattle (@Ariz.)

Tough matchup

Kansas City (home vs. Balt.)

Indianapolis (@ Jacksonville)

St. Louis (home vs. Chi.)

Week 15

Favorable

Seattle (home vs. SF)

Detroit (@GB)

Jacksonville (@Tenn.)

Denver (@Az.)

St. Louis (@Oak)

Tough matchup

Tampa Bay (@Chi.)

Chicago (home vs. TB)

Kansas City (@SD)

Week 16

Favorable

Minnesota (@GB)

Kansas City(@Oak.)

Tampa Bay (@Cleve)

Indianapolis (@Hou.)

Buffalo (home vs. Tenn.)

Tough matchup

Baltimore (@Pitt.)

Pittsburgh (home vs. Balt.)

Detroit (home vs. Chi.)

Seattle(home vs. SD)

SUMMARY- One thing that sticks out is Kansas City's schedule. If your playoffs are weeks 14 and 15, you have a tough road to the championship. If you can get there, you have Oakland as a reward. Seattle has a nice playoff schedule, with two easy matchups.

Indy owners will be rewarded with a Houston matchup in championship week. Viking owners have an easy road, as well.

I hope this is helpful.

Use the search function of this website....it does wonders
I just did a search for "fantasy playoffs" and the entire first page of results were threads started today. And, other than mine, there were no thread titles that even mentioned fantasy playoffs. So, if someone else posted a similar thread twenty days ago, it would be on page twenty of my search results.I'm sorry if this is a repeat of someone else's thread that you read a couple weeks ago. That must have been horrible for you to go through.I was just trying to do some research and, possibly, help some other members. Please forgive me.

I break wind in the general direction of the search function. If I'm interested in a topic (like this one), I can't get enough and will gladly go from thread to thread to look at slightly different perspectives on the same theme. Also, a fresh thread is preferred (by me, at least) when the existing thread or threads become bogged down with two or three guys sniping at each other with all the copied posts that entails. Thanks JuniorNB.

There was one that I posted in within the last three days.I'm shutting this one down.
