I thought Thomas Jones looked slow in preseason. I would not be concerned with the YPC by itself, but when watching, you can see things that stats don't show. All of the above may not have looked bad.

I thought Thomas Jones looked slow in preseason. I would not be concerned with the YPC by itself, but when watching, you can see things that stats don't show. All of the above may not have looked bad.

I agree. I was on the TJ value bandwagon but I didn't like the way he looked. Didn't pass the eye test. I'm trying to grab Washington cheap where ever I can.Overall, preseason is largely for the young players or the old players that need to prove something.

problem is, ADP plays a tough run schedule, has lost McKinnie for the first 4 weeks, and looks worse than he did at the end of 2007 ( he's had 20 carries in preseason and looked terrible with each one)...8-man fronts is what he's going to see as teams sell-out to stop the run and force T. Jackson to beat them thru the air..

Great point. People always say preseason doesn't matter, and try to focus on stats alone. The things you see on the field can tell you alot, as opposed to things you see in the box score.
