Let me see what's going on it that league and I'll make his picks.
Are you picking for him?Let me see what's going on it that league and I'll make his picks.
Yes.I changed up some picks as he ended up having too many players at certain positions. We should be good to go.Are you picking for him?Let me see what's going on it that league and I'll make his picks.
Yeah, we already waited 8 hours for his last two missed picks and coming up on another 4 hours for this one.Road Warriors, he didn't select a 3rd defense.. that's Miami QB.

Did you take away Limas Sweed and give him Derek Hagan? I am confused why you took away on e WR and gave him another at the same pick. And you gave him David Patten which is his 6th WR again.Yes.I changed up some picks as he ended up having too many players at certain positions. You can have 6 WRs as that fills his flex spot. I gave him Hagan because Hagan is a starter and Swwed is buried in Pittsburgh. I gave him Patten beause he is a starter and not a backup. He didn't make any of these picks . . . the computer made them initially and I swapped them for better options. If I'm going to draft for a team, I am going to manage it like I would manage it to make the league more competitive.Getinthemix said:Did you take away Limas Sweed and give him Derek Hagan? We apparently had very similar strategies and targets because you snatched several guys I was looking at. B.Jackson and Betts in particular were high on my list of later round RBs to fill out that position.Glad Muhsin dropped to me. This is very hard. Especially being near the end of a round. 24 players between picks one way, and difficult to 'bounce' a player off the turn the other way with the massive rosters.Plan was to go WR early and often. Reach a bit at the QB/K/D positions to fill from playoff caliber teams. I knew I was punting RB with the no PPR there, and subpar TEs went way too fast for me to try anything fancy there.I think most people have decent enough rosters to compete, although there are a few clunkers. As with any draft-n-go, injuries will be a huge factor, one of the reasons I went with WRs.
Interesting thoughts from the guy with a >5 hour average pick time. How about we start with a predraft from you and work up from there?at this point in the draft we should be able to put this bad boy to bed pretty quick if we could get everybody on the same page or have someone pick for the guys that have "checked out" and that have not made a draft list.....is there a way the commish or someone can email everybody.....we're really talking d's, k's, and scrubs here......should be able to make these picks pretty quick.......
Good. I so wanted to take Leon Washington at 10.4, but after cruising around the other drafts, thought it was better to try to wait. Didn't work out too well. That's about the only thing I'm kicking myself for. Although not too bad. The Ds got pretty well annihilated during that time, too.We apparently had very similar strategies and targets because you snatched several guys I was looking at. whatever........I didn't know I was in the league until after my first pick had already been made.....(I found out on a Saturday) since then I have only missed one pick which was my second pick since I didn't have time to do a pre draft list after finding out I was in the league......time hasn't run out since.....my time is inflated from the beginning and has been going down ever since unlike others which have been increasing significantly....the turn is what has been killing us lately but whatever I'll take the heat and smart ### comments.....good luck to all you guys this year in this league and your other ones....I realize this....and have used it....I was referring to when I found out I was in the league only a short time before walking out the door to go to a wedding on that first Saturday......but thanks for the advice big guyDude, you can make a predraft list at any time. just go to owner, draft, and fill in some people. It's not something you have to do months in advance. you can do it at any time for any pick you got.
:facepalm:I will let this go
Done. You guys should be set the reat of the way. RSJ will end up with whatever TMQB is leftover.Dave, Can you just pick for RSJ? He hasn't been to the website in over 4 days and has more than his share of autopicks.
That's completely fine, I don't blame people for doing it. Just don't come onto a public message board harping about draft speed when you're at the top of the list for time per pick or you'll look like an idiot.I realize you are a fantasy stud so not sure I need to explain the FF101 stuff like some people prefer not to pre draft becasue as with most drafts who you decide to take may change depending on who is taken in the picks before you....with predraft you lose some of that perspective....it might be a good feature in some cases but in most it is not....unless you are just trying to save time...I will let this go....if you chose to dazzle us some more...... have at it........

he needs to lose a WR or RB and sub it with a D or K.....then take the other with his last pick.....looks like M. Kelly was the last RB/WR that he took....should probably just swap that pick......Pinged DY for a cleanup on aisle 4.BroadwayG said:benm3218 will be having some final roster issues...he needs to lose a WR or RB and sub it with a D or K.....then take the other with his last pick.....looks like M. I've gotten grief over the years on how best to handle missed picks. It's not a money leagues, so people should be a little less uptight about how things go.Back in other seasons, I originally left whatever the computer pick was, but that wasn't really fair when someone got a player out for the season in the 4th round. Then I switched to making the pick myself, and people complained I picked better than the owner did. I still don't have a great answer for what to do or not to do, but sticking someone with a player that is not on a team, retired, hurt, or suspended really doen't seem to make sense. In your case, everyone else passed on Jordan, so they have no right to complain should he actually go on to do something. Given that I think I saw Travis Henry grilling my burgers at McDonald's at lunch today, I'm pretty sure his scoring output will be limited this season.I wasn't going to ask because it was my fault but David, thanks for subbing Lamont Jordan for Travis Henry for me.It was a rough day for computer time, along with everything else. :(
And BTW, I'm pretty sure that however your day went it went better than mine the past couple of days. If you want to compare sob stories, PM me the deatils of yours.I wasn't going to ask because it was my fault but David, thanks for subbing Lamont Jordan for Travis Henry for me.It was a rough day for computer time, along with everything else. :(
These leaguies and the PDSLs will have another hosting site which will be updated each week. I'm not sure where that will be at the moment, but there basically is nothing else to do for any of these leagues the rest of the way (other than checking in on the standings). I'll post the links to the Anarchy Leagues once I get them (they probably will be through the same site as the PDSLs as well.)so.....now what? And speaking of which, do the PDSL leagues actually get tracked through the season? Or are most of these simply drafting exercises (thus "mocks")?
Thanks for the review. I felt like I was getting good value early, but started reaching for marginal players later in the draft. Curry and Bryant were worthless picks that could have been better used finding RB opportunities. Oh well, I still feel OK with my choicesValhallen, 2nd pick of the draftPanthers, Carolina CAR TMQB Redskins, Washington WAS TMQB Grade B For not getting a lot of love, I think these two could be a decent pair of Team QB. Not playoff teams though (or at least locks for playoff teams)Hightower, Tim ARI RB - Jackson, Fred BUF RB - Tomlinson, Ladainian SDC RB - Washington, Leon NYJ RB Grade A-. LT gives you an A. Rest are good luck picks (as in good luck seeing a lot of scoring from them). Must be counting on injuries. Bryant, Antonio TBB WR - 10Colston, Marques NOS WR - 9Curry, Ronald OAK WR - 5Ginn Jr., Ted MIA WR - 4Marshall, Brandon DEN WR - 8Welker, Wes NEP WR - 4Grade B+ Strong set of WR. Colston, marshal, welker, solid scoring. Curry is at least a #1, and AB and Ginn should provide some points. Only Colston is on a sure playoff team. Thats what drops it to a B.Fasano, Anthony MIA TE - 4Heap, Todd BAL TE - 10B. Heap is a fine pick, but Fasano? Again, not likely playoff teamsBrown, Josh STL PK - 5Scobee, Josh JAC PK - 7B - Dont see playoff teams here either.Falcons, Atlanta ATL Def - 7Patriots, New England NEP Def - 4B Am I the only one that thinks NEP D is getting old? At least they will be in the playoffsOverall, an ok team. Middle of the pack?
