Anarchy League 4 Draft Order & Smack Talk (1 Viewer)

Let me see what's going on it that league and I'll make his picks.
Are you picking for him?
Yes.I changed up some picks as he ended up having too many players at certain positions. We should be good to go.
Did you take away Limas Sweed and give him Derek Hagan? I am confused why you took away on e WR and gave him another at the same pick. And you gave him David Patten which is his 6th WR again.

You can have 6 WRs as that fills his flex spot. I gave him Hagan because Hagan is a starter and Swwed is buried in Pittsburgh. I gave him Patten beause he is a starter and not a backup. He didn't make any of these picks . . . the computer made them initially and I swapped them for better options. If I'm going to draft for a team, I am going to manage it like I would manage it to make the league more competitive.

Glad Muhsin dropped to me. This is very hard. Especially being near the end of a round. 24 players between picks one way, and difficult to 'bounce' a player off the turn the other way with the massive rosters.

Plan was to go WR early and often. Reach a bit at the QB/K/D positions to fill from playoff caliber teams. I knew I was punting RB with the no PPR there, and subpar TEs went way too fast for me to try anything fancy there.

I think most people have decent enough rosters to compete, although there are a few clunkers. As with any draft-n-go, injuries will be a huge factor, one of the reasons I went with WRs.

at this point in the draft we should be able to put this bad boy to bed pretty quick if we could get everybody on the same page or have someone pick for the guys that have "checked out" and that have not made a draft list.....is there a way the commish or someone can email everybody.....we're really talking d's, k's, and scrubs here......should be able to make these picks pretty quick.......

David, just fug'd up the draft. I thought for sure Josh Morgan, SFO WR wasn't on MFL's list. So, was picking Quincy as a sub...then backtracked and see the Kruppe picked him up. Can you quickly swap out that for Michael Clayton, TBB WR. Thanks.

Thank you Mr. Always On the Board to Respond to others' Stupid Mistakes

We apparently had very similar strategies and targets because you snatched several guys I was looking at. B.Jackson and Betts in particular were high on my list of later round RBs to fill out that position.

Interesting thoughts from the guy with a >5 hour average pick time. How about we start with a predraft from you and work up from there?

Good. I so wanted to take Leon Washington at 10.4, but after cruising around the other drafts, thought it was better to try to wait. Didn't work out too well. That's about the only thing I'm kicking myself for. Although not too bad. The Ds got pretty well annihilated during that time, too.

:lmao: whatever........I didn't know I was in the league until after my first pick had already been made.....(I found out on a Saturday) since then I have only missed one pick which was my second pick since I didn't have time to do a pre draft list after finding out I was in the league......time hasn't run out since.....my time is inflated from the beginning and has been going down ever since unlike others which have been increasing significantly....the turn is what has been killing us lately but whatever I'll take the heat and smart ### comments.....good luck to all you guys this year in this league and your other ones....

Dude, you can make a predraft list at any time. just go to owner, draft, and fill in some people. It's not something you have to do months in advance. you can do it at any time for any pick you got.

I realize this....and have used it....I was referring to when I found out I was in the league only a short time before walking out the door to go to a wedding on that first Saturday......but thanks for the advice big guy

We'd probably still be in round 7 if you hadn't predrafted that one time. Thank heavens.

It makes things worse that you actually know how to use the predraft feature, but just refuse to use it.

I realize you are a fantasy stud so not sure I need to explain the FF101 stuff like some people prefer not to pre draft becasue as with most drafts who you decide to take may change depending on who is taken in the picks before you....with predraft you lose some of that perspective....it might be a good feature in some cases but in most it is not....unless you are just trying to save time...

I will let this go....if you chose to dazzle us some more...... have at it........

That's completely fine, I don't blame people for doing it. Just don't come onto a public message board harping about draft speed when you're at the top of the list for time per pick or you'll look like an idiot.

:blackdot: he needs to lose a WR or RB and sub it with a D or K.....then take the other with his last pick.....looks like M. Kelly was the last RB/WR that he took....should probably just swap that pick......

I wasn't going to ask because it was my fault but David, thanks for subbing Lamont Jordan for Travis Henry for me. :coffee: It was a rough day for computer time, along with everything else. :lmao:

I've gotten grief over the years on how best to handle missed picks. It's not a money leagues, so people should be a little less uptight about how things go.Back in other seasons, I originally left whatever the computer pick was, but that wasn't really fair when someone got a player out for the season in the 4th round. Then I switched to making the pick myself, and people complained I picked better than the owner did. I still don't have a great answer for what to do or not to do, but sticking someone with a player that is not on a team, retired, hurt, or suspended really doen't seem to make sense. In your case, everyone else passed on Jordan, so they have no right to complain should he actually go on to do something. Given that I think I saw Travis Henry grilling my burgers at McDonald's at lunch today, I'm pretty sure his scoring output will be limited this season.

And BTW, I'm pretty sure that however your day went it went better than mine the past couple of days. If you want to compare sob stories, PM me the deatils of yours.

so.....now what? And speaking of which, do the PDSL leagues actually get tracked through the season? Or are most of these simply drafting exercises (thus "mocks")?

These leaguies and the PDSLs will have another hosting site which will be updated each week. I'm not sure where that will be at the moment, but there basically is nothing else to do for any of these leagues the rest of the way (other than checking in on the standings). I'll post the links to the Anarchy Leagues once I get them (they probably will be through the same site as the PDSLs as well.)

Smack Daddies Team Analysis (it's worth just what you paid for it)

And don't take it personally - if you disagree, write your own posts.

I also may adjust once I get through all the teams (if i do)

RJS113, drafted 1st

Chiefs, Kansas City KCC TMQB

Rams, St. Louis STL TMQB

Grade D. Neither will be playoff teams, neither have high qual WR, and both have QB's with more than a few injury issues

Can you tell I don't like these two choices in a 6pt per td pass, start 2qb league?

Dunn, Warrick TBB RB

Peterson, Adrian MIN RB

Stewart, Jonathan CAR RB

Williams, DeAngelo CAR RB

Grade B (just because of AP). Not a fan of any of these guys other than AP. But I love AP. Not sure any of them are playoff teams, but Minnie at least has a shot.

Hagan, Derek MIA WR

Hardy, James BUF WR

Harrison, Marvin IND WR

Johnson, Andre HOU WR

Patten, David NOS WR

Smith, Steve CAR WR

Grade A- Andre, Patten and Smith are a pretty solid core. Not a huge fan of Hagan or Hardy. What will Harrison bring? At 5.01, a pretty good pick I think.

Carlson, John SEA TE

McMichael, Randy STL TE

C John Carlson will ROCK (with a name like that). Nah... I like mr. McM, but I don't see huge production from this position. Average gives you a C.

Hanson, Jason DET PK

Lindell, Rian BUF PK

D Kickers don't seem to be of huge importance in this league, but neither of these guys are going to be in the playoffs. That makes them below average.

Bengals, Cincinnati CIN Def

Saints, New Orleans NOS Def

D - possibly an F. At least NO should make the playoffs.

Overall, not my favorite team. Very few playoff teams represented here. But WR could lead to some good scoring. Top half?

Valhallen, 2nd pick of the draft

Panthers, Carolina CAR TMQB

Redskins, Washington WAS TMQB

Grade B For not getting a lot of love, I think these two could be a decent pair of Team QB. Not playoff teams though (or at least locks for playoff teams)

Hightower, Tim ARI RB -

Jackson, Fred BUF RB -

Tomlinson, Ladainian SDC RB -

Washington, Leon NYJ RB

Grade A-. LT gives you an A. Rest are good luck picks (as in good luck seeing a lot of scoring from them). Must be counting on injuries.

Bryant, Antonio TBB WR - 10

Colston, Marques NOS WR - 9

Curry, Ronald OAK WR - 5

Ginn Jr., Ted MIA WR - 4

Marshall, Brandon DEN WR - 8

Welker, Wes NEP WR - 4

Grade B+ Strong set of WR. Colston, marshal, welker, solid scoring. Curry is at least a #1, and AB and Ginn should provide some points. Only Colston is on a sure playoff team. Thats what drops it to a B.

Fasano, Anthony MIA TE - 4

Heap, Todd BAL TE - 10

B. Heap is a fine pick, but Fasano? Again, not likely playoff teams

Brown, Josh STL PK - 5

Scobee, Josh JAC PK - 7

B - Dont see playoff teams here either.

Falcons, Atlanta ATL Def - 7

Patriots, New England NEP Def - 4

B Am I the only one that thinks NEP D is getting old? At least they will be in the playoffs

Overall, an ok team. Middle of the pack?

#3 pick, mr. John Doe

Cowboys, Dallas DAL TMQB - 10

Dolphins, Miami MIA TMQB - 4

A- grade - Dal is an A plus, Miami is a C at best. Dallas has a good shot at the Super Bowl, so that is good.

Bennett, Michael TBB RB - 10

Bush, Reggie NOS RB - 9

Maroney, Laurence NEP RB - 4

Taylor, Chester MIN RB - 8

Grade B. Lots of playoff teams here, just not sure I just love any of the picks.

Breaston, Steve ARI WR - 7

Cotchery, Jerricho NYJ WR - 5

Davis, Rashied CHI WR - 8

Randle El, Antwaan WAS WR - 10

Rice, Sidney MIN WR - 8

Stallworth, Donte' CLE WR - 5

Grade B- Why pick Rice when Berrian was available (thanks though) No number 1 WR on this list (unless Davis is, but that's not much comfort - the number 1 Bears WR - YAY). Like Cotchery, the rest are hope kind of picks - not sure things.

Lewis, Marcedes JAC TE - 7

Scheffler, Tony DEN TE - 8

C dont love, dont hate

Folk, Nick DAL PK - 10

Nugent, Mike NYJ PK - 5

A- grade here. Folk is the dallas K, thats all good. Nugent - with Farve playing, should be scoring.

Overall, middle of the pack

Cardinals, Arizona ARI Def - 7

Panthers, Carolina CAR Def

Pick 4 - Smack Daddies. Obvious winner of the league. Trust me.

Seahawks, Seattle SEA TMQB - 4

Steelers, Pittsburgh PIT TMQB - 6

Grade B. Playoff teams, should score ok. Probably picked Seattle too early

Addai, Joseph IND RB - 4

Hester, Jacob SDC RB - 9

Morris, Maurice SEA RB - 4

Williams, Ricky MIA RB - 4

Grade B+ Addai I like alot (obviously). Hoping that Morris and Williams start. Hester - should get some points. I think round 9 was a good slot for Ricky. 3 of 4 are on playoff teams

Berrian, Bernard MIN WR - 8

Hurd, Sam DAL WR - 10

Mason, Derrick BAL WR - 10

McDonald, Shaun DET WR - 4

Meachem, Robert NOS WR - 9

Nelson, Jordy GBP WR - 8

D In a ppr league, didnt draft well here. I like Berrian, but the rest are good luck picks in mannhy ways

Daniels, Owen HOU TE - 8

Miller, Heath PIT TE - 6

B+ Good scorers, one playoff team. I love Daniels this year

Gostkowski, Stephen NEP PK - 4

Vinatieri, Adam IND PK - 4

Will score into the playoffs. Have to give myself an A in this slot

Lions, Detroit DET Def - 4

Ravens, Baltimore BAL Def - 10

D. Took em late. liked the value of the Ravens. Detroit - well, they do get to play the packers twice

Overall - Bad WR choices. lower middle of the pack. Need to count on the TE to be top 20 scoreres.

Pick 5, the Kraut (err, Kruppe)

Bears, Chicago CHI TMQB - 8

Jets, New York NYJ TMQB - 5

hard to grade. Jets should be ok, Bears? Niether playoff teams. Give em a b- here

Lewis, Jamal CLE RB - 5

McAllister, Deuce NOS RB - 9

Smith, Kevin DET RB - 4

Westbrook, Brian PHI RB - 7

B+ - Westbrook is fine (but will Phili make the playoffs?) Jamal - i just dont like him. Duece, Smith, both taking a chance on those picks . could payoff and these guys lead in team scoring in the RB position, but i think now

Jackson, Chad NEP WR - 4

Jackson, DeSean PHI WR - 7

Jackson, Vincent SDC WR - 9

Morgan, Josh SFO WR - 9

Moss, Santana WAS WR - 10

Porter, Jerry JAC WR - 7

D. Don't like any of these picks. I see no true #1 (or possibly even #2 WR here)

Clark, Dallas IND TE - 4

Gates, Antonio SDC TE - 9

A plus. Love these picks.

Mehlhaff, Taylor NOS PK - 9

Prater, Matt DEN PK - 8

Solid B. Have to love Mehlhaff.

Colts, Indianapolis IND Def - 4

Redskins, Washington WAS Def - 10

B, B+.

overall, like my team, hate the WR, better TE, worse QB. Should finish around the middle

(just who is going to finish in the top?)_

next up, pick 6, the Coordinator

ah, a team I like.

Patriots, New England NEP TMQB - 4

Ravens, Baltimore BAL TMQB - 10

Have to say an A-. NEP is an A++++, but Balto? yuck

James, Edgerrin ARI RB - 7

Rhodes, Dominic IND RB - 4

Turner, Michael ATL RB - 7

Ward, Derrick NYG RB - 4

Not great picks here, but James and Turner should work out well. Ward and Rhodes? B+

Burleson, Nate SEA WR - 4

Holt, Torry STL WR - 5

Johnson, Bryant SFO WR - 9

Smith, Steve NYG WR - 4

Walter, Kevin HOU WR - 8

Walters - everyone fav sleepr. Holt, Bryant, Burleson solid. Smith is fine

Good group A-

Gonzalez, Tony KCC TE - 6

Lee, Donald GBP TE - 8

Miller, Zach OAK TE - 5

Have to be an A - 3 decent TE, lead by Gonzo. But no playoff teams?

Kaeding, Nate SDC PK - 9

Nedney, Joe SFO PK - 9

Good. It's a B

Bills, Buffalo BUF Def - 6

Vikings, Minnesota MIN Def - 8

B

Like this team. Top 4 potential

Thanks for the review. I felt like I was getting good value early, but started reaching for marginal players later in the draft. Curry and Bryant were worthless picks that could have been better used finding RB opportunities. Oh well, I still feel OK with my choices :lmao:

Bah, I'll do my own (after week 4 games)

Packers, Green Bay GBP TMQB 88.28 8 *Please tell me Rogers will tough it out!!Texans, Houston HOU TMQB 51.88 2 * Starting to come around, and schedule sets out for nice runBarber, Marion DAL RB 70.9 10 * Beast [PERIOD]Bradshaw, Ahmad NYG RB 19.7 4 * Still hoping he'll see the field more as the season goes onJohnson, Larry KCC RB 60.7 6 * Beast, but I do realize that KC will really struggle against good D'sMendenhall, Rashard PIT RB (I) 7.5 6 *Ugh...That hurts.Boldin, Anquan ARI WR (D) 93.6 7 *Please tell me he's as tough as I think he is.Branch, Deion SEA WR (Q) - 4 * We'll see, not holding my breathBrown, Reggie PHI WR 13.9 7 * finally on the field, let him be a good compliment to JaxClayton, Michael TBB WR 18.2 10 * Ugh, but come'on...late round pick here.Hill, Jason SFO WR 0 9 * Double Ugh...is he ever going to develop at all??Jennings, Greg GBP WR 85.2 8 * BEAST, maybe Flynn can just keep throwing at him all game?Scaife, Bo TEN TE 47.4 6 * Serviceable, happy with the late round pickShiancoe, Vishante MIN TE 38.9 8 * Ditto that, did good for waiting till everybody and their brother had 2 TE's already.Bironas, Rob TEN PK 34 6 * Can't wait till he ALSO kicks from 50+ to be my Colts....GRRRRReed, Jeff PIT PK 39 6 * Average49ers, San Francisco SFO Def 39 9 * Outscoring the 'Bows DEF...come ON!!!Cowboys, Dallas DAL Def 30 10 * Biggest disapointment thus far, jeez thought they'd be great. Still waiting.
Well, in first place right now. Rogers injury will absolutely sink me (Rogers -> Jennings have been $$).

man, this place is dead. Anyone else even following this league anymore? I'm liking my chances if a few things can fall my way:

Packers, Green Bay GBP TMQB * Really all comes down to Packers squeezing out the NFCN title and making playoffs.

Barber, Marion DAL RB 70.9 10 * Dal needs to squeeze into a WC spot, but have a VERY tough road to hoe.

Bradshaw, Ahmad NYG RB 19.7 4 * playoff bound

Boldin, Anquan ARI WR (D) 93.6 7 * playoff bound, can they win a game?

Jennings, Greg GBP WR 85.2 8 * this is why GB is my lynchpin for the title here...

Scaife, Bo TEN TE 47.4 6 * playoff bound

Shiancoe, Vishante MIN TE 38.9 8 * hmm, maybe if GB doesn't make it I can get something here?

Bironas, Rob TEN PK 34 6 * playoff bound!

Reed, Jeff PIT PK 39 6 * playoff bound!

Cowboys, Dallas DAL Def 30 10 * WC bound?

Yeah, if both GB and Dal make the playoffs I'm really set to throw up some nice post-season pts. If neither makes it, I'm finished (I think).

My team is awful. For some reason I always fail miserably in these leagues regardless of how well I do in the survivors/normal leagues.

Yeah, my ship is sinking FAST! MB3 hurt, ugh. Boldin tailing off. Rogers tailing off, and he and Jennings are totally OUT for any extra pts in playoffs. Dallas looking for some help to get into playoffs. Definitely not looking like a healthy lineup. I'm not so far behind that the ground can't be made up, but I really need these pieces to put up some more pts before the close of the season!!

Losing Colston's production for most of the year hurt, but I have some playoff guys..

- LT or Marshall

- Welker, Patriots and/or Ginn, Fasano

- QB Panthers

- Hightower

- Bryant

- Heap

- DF Falcons

...and L.Washington is a longshot

Looks like Broadway has the big scorers to make a run at the title.

I'm out after putting little emphasis on drafting guys on playoff teams over comparable talents, but then again who would have guessed Baltimore and Arizona being alive still? Fun league.
