Andre Johnson owners (1 Viewer)

After two games, I'm hoping he doesn't turn out to be a bad 2nd round pick. When I took him, I knew the injury risks, but figured I'd see WR1 numbers when he was playing. So far, I haven't seen the dominant Johnson I've seen in the past.

Anyone have concerns that his injuries have caught up with him? Anyone getting/making trade offers?

Top 5 week 1, top 20 YTD seems like no reason to push the panic button yet. He's inconsistent, but he's always been somewhat inconsistent even when healthy imo.

his biggest problem is houston is a running team and will have the lead, no reason to throw.

Very happy week1 when he put up 100+ and a td.

Week2, well they slaughtered the Jags so what do you expect?

Hopefully they need to pass some vs. Denver

It has nothing to do with injuries and everything to do with the strong D than Houston has. When you are beating up on Jax, who stinks, why put your superstar WR at risk. You can put Foster at risk because Tate is behind him. You lose Andre, you have 8 in the box all day long.

Johnson won't have a consistent, huge year because they don't need him to win. 6 games vs Ten, Jax, Indy. They all stink and should be easy wins for Hou.

Kubiak is no Belicheck. If they are able to win with FG's, he's fine with that. They won't be rolling up points on anyone with that D.

would you take chris johnson for him?
As a Johnson owner and Texan fan, heck no on the trade for CJ0K.AJ is fine and will be fine. The other posters are right, we don't need to throw all the time, wehave Foster, Tate and Forsett who looks good too. Look more from AJin non conference games. These guys are right, our division stinksso no need to run up scores and take a chance on AJ getting hurt.Oh, I got him in the 4th round after stating I would never takea Texan on my team ever.

He has more yards and more catches than julio jones
And I would trade Johnson to get Julio Jones in a heartbeat.
I've got AJ on a number of teams and I would not trade AJ for Julio in the redraft leagues. As has been stated, week 2 was a blow out so AJ only got 4 targets. He caught 3 of them. The week before was a pretty easy victory and AJ still got 10 targets and he caught 8 of them. I'd say he's looking fine. He'll have some 15 target games. I expect hiim to finish the year with about 150 targets. Can't say the same for Julio. Plus, Matt Ryan is pretty overrated.

That offene is frustrating to watch when you own Andre, but I can't blame them for running the ball all day long and dumping it off to the RB's. It works. AJ isn't what he once was with the 100 catches 15000 yards but I think he will still be a top 10 receiver if he stays healthy.

I would take Julio over him and several others as well but its pretty much flipping a coin with all the next to top tier WR. He's in that group so whether he finishes top 3 or top 10 there won't be much of a difference.
