Actually, better then that (I think )1. Long press on an empty space on a home screen2. Add new folder - rename "Speed Dial" or whatever3. Go back to the homescreen where you added the folder4. Long press and add shortcut>direct dial>select which contact5. drag each direct dial shortcut into the folderThis should give you about 20 speed dials per folder. Speed dialing is then only 2 "clicks" away

I love the LookOut virus app. Scans while I sleep and sends me a report once a week by email. That's exactly how I want a virus program to work-wish AVG did that on the PC.

Battery Booster seems to do some good but I still have 3 chargers scattered around.

National Football Post had a nice football app (looked sharp) but it was always behind a few days.

ProTrade had a real good app for scores and stats but it hasn't worked since the last OS update.

NFL Mobile is awesome. I get the red zone channel right there, aside from NFLN stuff. BTW NFL put out a gamecenter app last week.

Yeah - I got the same email. I even took a picture of that barcode thing to get the link. Go to the link they send and it's dead.I like the ESPN app for play by play better than the NFL Verizon app. Was hoping scorecenter would be decent.

I love NFL Mobile. I spend all day on Sundays carrying around my phone and watching the games. Since those bastards at TWC won't give me RedZone it is my best option for football.

I finally set up the slingbox app ($30) and it is everything I thought it could be and more. Went to the Pats game yesterday and was able to watch the redzone channel while we waited in the ticket line and watch/listen to the highlight shows while we were stuck in traffic leaving the game.

The only ways I would improve it are

- getting rid of the need to have a cable box - I would pay more for a slingbox that could act as its own digitial cable box, so I could watch it without having to take over a TV. Does this exist?

- caching a little more for times when you have slow network performance. This wasn't much of an issue, but network bandwidth always sucks near the stadium.

- being able to record slung TV, like a DVR on the phone. I understand you don't have nearly as much storage capacity and the software would be slow, but it seems possible to store cached data with fairly good performance.

That said, I think I remember reading that those who installed it before a certain date would be able to watch live video for free. Those that didn't had to get VCast.

For those who have NFL Sunday Ticket, there's a Sunday Ticket app you can download, and you only need your DirecTV website login info to access the games live. I was working my own version of picture in a picture yesterday. My wife loves the new phone.

Yeah - I think new subscribers have to pay the vcast to see video on the NFL app. Presently I am still free.You can still listen to audio in the app for no charge.

FBG's is not on Tapatalk as far as I can tell.

Tapatalk is great, but it probably won't work with FBG until the offseason. (I think Joe said in another thread that we have to update the version of Invision that we're running, and updating it during the season is risky.)

Like them, I haven't been charged. I just installed an update and was worried that the new version would be pay but it does, again, read "free."I just figure the NFL is pushing the redzone channel as much as possible this year and the "free for phones" idea was a decent sales tactic to get folks to signup for their TV channel.I feel bad for anyone trying to fully enjoy one of these Android phones without an unlimited data plan. I'd probably use up that data limit in a day.

Question for searching contacts. One of the things I love about using google contacts on my desktop is the search. I can search by a term that I noted in the contacts "notes" section and it'll pull it up. Great when I can't remember the name of the contact I want.

But on my phone, searching contacts doesn't seem to let me do this. I get just the name or company name. Is there a way to expand the search on the phone?

You can still listen to audio in the app for no charge.

But the only option seems to be snooze all or dismiss all. How do I snooze or dismiss them individually?

Currently, if I hit the magnified glass and type in something.....the web suggestions comes up first. This is great when I want to perform a quick web search...however when I want to call "John doe", I type in "John Doe" a bunch of web suggestions comes up, then my "John Doe" contact comes at the end.Is there a way to change the priority that I don't know about?If I use power serach, I don't have to scroll down.

My gmail stopped synching yesterday so I took it into the Verizon store to have them take a look - guy tested and verified it wasn't working and tried to re-install gmail to fix but that didn't resolve issue - said my only option was a factory reset and that I'd lose customizations but apps would come back within 30 minutes - that was 3 hours ago, my phone still isn't synching right every app I've downloaded over last 3 months is gone -
