Seems news agencies are making crap up at this point. All we seem to know for sure is the shooter is dead and others were injured. Possibly killed. Nothing seems to be definite past that.

Not all atheists are as vile and disgusting as a few who have posted here. IMO, there is absolutely nothing wrong with prayers in situations like these. I'm sure many of the families appreciate them. If it gives you comfort to pray, then do it.

####### disgusting. Seriously - How many people have to die before this #### is actually discussed? Bad things happen all the time, but some of this #### is preventable.
This is totally ####ed up. While this appears to be the worst to date, it's only going to get worse.

As a parent i can not fathom ...

Can we hold off on the commentary at least until the dust settles here? These are little kids who are dying at the hands of a sicko(s).

Im home today and watching this on tv and when the graphic came up 27 dead, 14 children i started crying. I hope thats not right.

CNN did acknowledge climbing death toll, and mentioned the CBS (unconfirmed) report of 27 dead.

Said a whole classroom of kids is unaccounted for outside the school.

Why don't we wait for things to settle an hour or so before reporting how many dead/injured?

Why don't we wait for things to settle down a bit before you political circus animals start in on your usual BS?

No, at this point, for the parents who jus lost their child, there is nothing they need more than prayers.
Prayers aren't going to do them any good at this point.
Can the atheists put a sock in it for now? Thanks.
Sure thing. Let us know when it's ok for us to disagree with the sentiment that, "for the parents who jus lost their child, there is nothing they need more than prayers."
Why do you need to disagree with it at all? Why not support the people in your way and let others support them in theirs?

I didn't say you can't pray if you want to.

How demented do you have to be to murder children? I just can't even fathom shooting that many little kids. Just horrific.

:(

In fairness, there is nothing any of us can currently do to change the number of people that are dead.I can see how if someone is convinced that guns are the problem, an event like this would completely infuriate them.I personally don't own a gun and never will. I also have no idea why any human would want to own an assault weapon, that is specifically designed to fire rounds fast and to KILL PEOPLE.I also am disgusted that a person thinks that their life is so bad that its acceptable to go shoot up a freaking elementary school. What an awful human. Finally, you have to admit that video games MIGHT be causing a problem here. We have people that play video games where they can walk around a city and mow people down with machine guns. They play on huge TV's and it almost seems life-like. It's not hard to imagine a person mentally snapping and acting out things they've been doing in video games, in real life.Guns, people in general, video games...they are all part of the problem. It's hard to see how anyone could argue otherwise.

I really hope there is a special place in Hell reserved for these mother####ers. Getting so sick of this ####. Chips away at the soul and belief in humanity

There are guns, people and video games in almost every country.

CBS throwing out the possibility that there is a second individual involved, possibly someone in custody of law enforcement.
