Another Small Child Stricken With Cancer :( (1 Viewer)

A former coworker/friend of mine's nephew has been diagnosed with cancer. Luckily it hasn't spread far as it's in his arm and a spot on his lung. He will be starting chemo soon.

Chance's story touched me so and I know it has touched many of you here, to hear of a child battling cancer. While I give to organizations to fight cancer, I'm also called to give to this young child to help him and his family during this most difficult and stressful time.

Cancer is the worst. My mom is Stage 4 Lung Cancer right now and my sister is undergoing a stem cell procedure for her Lymphoma. Prayers for Corbin.

Yes cancer is the worst. My grandma died of lung cancer. Stupid Stanford Hospital here in Palo Alto didn't catch it on a couple of visits before until it was stage 4 and it had spread to much. She was coughing and they kept giving her cold meds! Unbelievable!

I'm pretty savvy with med conditions working in a surgeon's office but unfortunately I didn't have power of attorney over her and my family didn't listen to me to take her elsewhere as Stanford Hospital is the suck! Now ironically enough no one has gone there since....

Grams didn't smoke but my uncle that lived with her does and even though it was in his room or outside, of course you get the second hand smoke.

Anyway, sorry to hear about your mom and sis. Prayers out to them both as well.

I see that Corbin lives in Tyler, TX. If he ends up coming to TCH or MD Anderson in Houston for treatment in 2015 and his family needs a place to stay, let me know. Our Foundation is launching tomorrow and we should have our first furnished residence available in January.
