Saw Roadrunner last night and really enjoyed it. It kept the focus on Anthony Bourdain, the man, when it could have easily lost itself and devolved into a clip show. David Chau and Josh Homme were amazing interviews. I was pretty intoxicated, but that made it easier to sob through the final 20 minutes without caring what the other people in the theater thought of me. 

I miss him. 

Just an FYI, they used digital technology in the movie to generate some of the Bourdain dialogue. Like they wrote things he never said and used software to put it into his voice. They also pieced together words and phrases from other interviews of his to make him say things he never said. I’m not really cool with this and probably will avoid it just for that.

I misspelled David Choe, the artist who took Bourdain to sizzler in an episode. David Chang is also featured.

Yeah, I don't really like that. They also failed to offer Asia Argento an interview, which seems irresponsible given their connection during the final year of Bourdain's life. Still, there's lots of really great stuff to enjoy and mourn throughout the film that make it worthwhile.
