My tongue is on fire!  Not only is it sensitive to the touch, it's feels like it's on fire all the time.  The last few days, this has spread to the gums too.  My gums are pretty healthy and tough (thanks for the shower floss Dentist) but now even they are getting sensitive too.  It started when I got back from some island in the Pacific I went to with my girlfriend.  We haven't seen each other in about 5 weeks due to my moving out of the state and did a lot of making up for lost time.  Just about every part of me that is used for adult time was rubbed raw, so I figured I just needed a few days to heal up, but instead my tongue has just gotten worse.  Anyone know what is going on here?
