In 1/2 pt PPR (12 team) MoMo went for $51 to the Best owner. Total of $200 for the season. He hadn't spent much prior to that, so had a lot of ammo, and was basically ensuring he had a RB if Best was out, so I think he overspent a little.
MoMo went for $60 to the Best owner (full PPR) who had no starting RB's this week of our $100 budget. He had $60 left to spend. Bit risky but he probably had to do it. It's just as likely Harrison, Williams, or a FA pickup get involved or even that Best doesn't miss much time.
Palmer went for 22%. Noone else went for much although this is a very active sleeper hungry league and many good sleepers are rostered before they have value.
I ponied up 33% for DeMarco Murray as a Felix Jones owner with only Mathews and Battle in reserve. It was the rest of my FAAB budget for the year but I figure it's worth it. Wasn't saving money for anyone else after scooping up Tebow last week. Otherwise very happy with my team.
MauMo went for 10% (these waivers were run overnight Tuesday/Wednesday morning).
Donald Brown went for 10%.
Alex Smith went for 6%.
Josh Cribbs went for 6% (return yardage league).
McCluster went for 5%.
Fred Davis went for 2%.
Jacoby Ford went for 1%.
Sanchize went for 1%.
Palmer remains unclaimed - this is a 12-team league.
In one league Murray and Morris commanded 50%+ bids and I am glad I didn't even try. Palmer went fairly high.
In the other league I landed Morris for a $75 bid (out of a $500 beginning balance). The next highest bidder only bid $40. I think I got a steal. Palmer still a FA in that league. Nobody apparently is interested
Best owner: Bid $53 out of $200 and got him. Didn't bid on Keiland. I worry less about Keiland and more about someone coming in off the street. (Westbrook/Portis. I don't think they have any interest whatsoever, but can't believe I haven't heard Kevin Smith's name once around the league yet when guy's like Deshawn Wynn are getting workouts)
Best case would be to get Jahvid back by fantasy playoff time and use Morris as a matchup play until then. As a Best owner, I think you do have to look at it as if he won't be back.
Not a RB that'll win you weeks, but isn't any worse option than someone like Lynch in their offenses. May come in handy during Week 9-11 bye weeks. He should catch enough passes to put up passable RB #'s.
