He's playing and if he is on your roster, I don't see how you can't start him unless you have Witten or perhaps Winslow sitting on your bench.

In my league wr's and te's are the same, in other words i could start a wr instead, and i have burlson as my 4th wr.

Still early but i think ill just bench Gate's this week see how he look's. I'll start Burlson in place of him. anyone else benching him ? Just wondering i made up my mind, wait and see aproach.

Gate's? look's? guy's? update's? :rolleyes:From CBS:

Chargers QB Philip Rivers, who's bounced back from offseason knee surgery, is looking forward to having both LaDainian Tomlinson and tight end Antonio Gates back in the lineup Week 1 against the Panthers. Gates injured his left big toe during a playoff win against Tennessee and later had surgery to repair a tear in the plantar plate. Gates, who did not play in the preseason, said he knew in July that he'd be able to play in the season opener.(Updated 09/01/2008).

Analysis: Gates is not 100 percent, "but I'm definitely better than what I was," Gates said. "The more I get out there, the more reps I get, the more I get used to it. That's all I can really do at this point, is just go out and play as hard as I can and let everything else take care of itself." There's no denying that when he's healthy, Gates is a stat machine. His position is thin, which is why people tend to reach for Gates in drafts. It appears as though he will be active Week 1, so start him in Fantasy leagues despite not being 100 percent.not 100% I know it's Gate's but hello he is human.
