Anybody rolling with Flynn in the playoffs? (1 Viewer)

I'm down and out at QB, my only other options are Sanchez and Henne, so I'm going to roll out Flynn against the Pats. This board saw Matt Flynn as a sleeper QB should Rodgers go down, is it possible he throws 2 or 3 TDs vs. the Pats? All the WRs are there, they don't run much, there is some good upside here IMO, although the floor is really low.

I dont have a choice. Every QB is rostered in my league. Its either flynn or rodgers for me lol

McCourty might be out this week for NE, so I'm thinking about it. Either rolling with Flynn or Palmer. Ugh.

Go Sanchez.

I'm deciding Palmer or Flynn too! Ugh is right! Damn it ARod!!!! Think I'm going with Palmer! At least he has some experience! Might bite me but gotta do it!Can't ride Flynn in a playoff game! Cant!

so now that we know Flynn is starting, what kind of projections do we see for him? I see something like this:

240 yards passing, 2 TD, 2 INT

20 yards rushing

not too awful. and the possibility remains that NE jumps out early and GB has to play a lot of catch up, which could leads to more yards and TD's through the air.

I think the interesting thing is that for tight end desperate owners like me, Flynn seems to have a good rapport with Andrew Quarless

Seems to me most people would project decent numbers for him but it just kind of makes you sick having to roll him out there. Anyone with the scoop on him? He's supposed to be one of those guys that would produce if ARod went down, or is it just NE at home that scares the Beejesus out of you?

People can project decent numbers if they want to, but the fact is that no one has any clue how he will do. Not only do we know nothing about him, but the weather conditions are not ideal. It's just as reasonable to think that he will throw for 135 yds, 0 TDs, and 3 INTS

You know, the combination of Rodgers + Flynn last week against Detroit in dome conditions produced 223 yards, 0 TDs and 2 INTs.

Certainly the Packers won't be rolling with him in the playoffs (or anybody else for that matter). He really was wretched vs. the Lions last week. When you're out-dueled by Drew Stanton that's saying a lot.

He is a 3rd year QB and the Packers have been satisfied to carry only two QBs all year. He has played pretty well in preseason action. The Packers have had the same offense all three years. He should be ready. I would much rather start Flynn than one of these rookies being forced into action.

What makes everyone so confident in Flynn? Is it the 0 NFL TD's? The great game against the LIONS?!

Jay Cutler is a hell of a quarterback, he ended with a QB rating of less than THIRTY-THREE. I realize there are some good weapons, but this is a so/so QB, with a so/so running game, against a VERY GOOD team. The offense isn't so great because of the periphery itself. Aaron Rodgers plays a HUGE part in it's effectiveness. IF the Packers D can put the breaks on the Brady express, the Packers will play ball control, and have Flynn will have the ever mentioned game-manager role.

The way the NE offense has been playing Flynn wont have the luxury to be a game manager....

In Flynn's defense Jennings did drop what should have been a TD

Same here. I picked up Skelton in case I need a warm body to plug into my lineup, but otherwise Flynn is literally my only option.Edit: My playoff run is very likely to come to an end today anyway. In addition to having only one healthy QB left, I'm also down to only two healthy WRs (Bowe/Ward). One of those years.
