Anybody see Garcon take that dive in the endzone last night? (1 Viewer)

I wish I was better at finding links and putting them up. Drew a pass interference call in the endzone to set up either the first or second touchdown. Looked really bad. He was running ahead of the defender, the ball was thrown well out of his reach, and he just went down all of a sudden. Boom, flag. The announcer was like, "Oh! He got tangled up there." Yeah, he got tangled up about as bad as those World Cup players that never got touched either. The fact that he has a French name only makes it worse, IMO.

The worst was Theisman defending the call.

The defender may have given him a tiny tug on the jersey...but that ball was so far away...it was an awful call.

The worst part was that Theismann continued to insist that Garcon was interfered with even after multiple replays. He is such an idiot - I hate listening to him. As a matter of fact - I hate listening to that entire team EXCEPT for Alex Flanagan.

That was an academy award nomination level acting job. :jeter:

He did the same thing last week when he insisted that some qb took a blow to the head when multiple replays showed no contact

It was a classic soccer dive. He let the trailing leg drag and fell over. Awful that a ref standing less than 10 feet away bought it. Even worse that Theisman defended the call after replay. Hopefully Garcon gets a reputation for this among refs and has trouble getting future calls.

PI calls in endzones should be instant reviews...even if PIs aren't reviewable. They should be in that instance. Too much of a game changer.

wayne took a similar dive against he chargers that wasnt called and ended up as a pick 6. wonder if it is endemic within the colts franchise.

I thought it was sporting of Blair White to compensate for this bad call later in the game by breaking up a TD pass to Reggie Wayne in the end zone.

That doesn't surprise me. Noticed a bunch of Peytons int have been with White. At least two of them in the Dallas game were due to wrong routes by him.

No, he didn't.That was blatant PI committed by Eric Weddle. Even Christiano Ronaldo couldn't act on that level. Oddly enough, the officiating in the San Diego game seemed to be inept across the board. But then last night's game was heavily one-sided in Indy's (read: Peyton's) favor in terms of calls made.

Garcon's dive probably topped Roddy White's push-off as the worst non-call officiating decision of the season thus far.
