I am really on the fence about possibly benching Warner this week. I see the matchup against Minn as very tough. What are other owners doing this week?

Minnesota pass defense sucks. I would start Warner over everyother QB this week. 100% confidence. They will throw all day and be very successful.

Plus the Cards will have to pass alot since Hightower about to get shut down by the MIN Run D.

Williams boys or no, Hightower hasn't been a safe or good start in weeks and against some deficient run D too. He had one 2 TD game in week 12 (against the giants though) and has topped 100 yards a grand total in exactly one week rarely tops 50 combined and has generally not looked like a decent play in a long time.If both Williams' and Allen is out maybe it makes a difference but he didn't look good against SEATTLE for goodness sake. And on top of it, here is a team that throws the ball 90% of their plays.Whether you decide to play Hightower or not, the MINNY run d would have to be awful for him to be a safe start.

Agree. Just saying the zero/one yard gains may turn into 2 yd gains. ARI will still have to run a little to keep those guys honest.

I would bench Warner if I could start 1984 Marino at the end of that season. Otherwise, I think he's staying in my lineup.

Probably the only QB I would play over Warner is Brees and that is exactly the decision I have to make. However, my opponent has Fitz and with NO on the road in the elements, I think the safest move is to go with Warner.

Not a bad move. I have Warner and Fitz and my opponent, my brother, has Boldin. I am rolling out Warner and hoping for the best on this one.
Agreed with above posters that this is a decent/good matchup.
Even against a bad matchup, particularly in a dome I'd NEVER bench Warner. He has an amazing trio of receivers, he's deadly accurate, the running game is average at best and the Cards defense is mediocre.

MIN is that def that noone runs against and they just pass? Started awhile back when the Pats just went spread offense play 1 and destroyed them via the pass?I <ahem> THINK <cough cough> ARI can pass on MIN.

I am playing against the Warner/Fitz combo this week and expecting big numbers. The MIN D is good but not as great as people think, especially on the road. I think they are ranked 25th in passing D. You can throw all over this team and Warner probably will. Even Garrard threw for over 300 yds against them. Warner, Fitz, Boldin, Peterson, and Berrian could all put up huge numbers.

Like everyone else - hell no! I'm starting Warner, Fitz and Breaston. That's how confident I am in the Arizona passing game rolling this week.

Cards D is mediocre? I know they haven't been a good D on the road but at home they've been very good. Just ask Tony Romo when he was tortured, abused and then injured for a few weeks.Whoever the Min QB is they always throw picks every single game. I like the Cards D this week.

In fact I took a quick look at the MIN O (It's late here and tired) but the Vikings offense has allowed top 4 most fantasy points to defenses this year. 16th in pts scored, 4th for turnovers, 8th for sacks allowed and they've also allowed NINE TD's (4 on returns and 5 defensive ones).
MIN turnover friendly O coupled with Warner putting up points make the ARI D even better play this week.

Don't know why everyone thinks this but ...Vike pass D is ranked 23rd (least fantasy points allowed) against QBs
Vikes Passing D has not let up more than 2 tds in a game this year ... They let up 2 TDs 3 times ... they let up 300yds 3 times (they allowed 1 TD and had 2 INT in each of those 3 games)

He's not, but are you? Minny D is 20th against the pass, 2nd against the run. Just going to make a WAG as to where the Cards might get their yards this week.

1 being Most points allowed 32 being least points allowed based on passing td = 4pts, 30 yds pass = 1 pt, turnover = -2pts
