I really prefer to have players from different teams. right now i have sims- walker and jones- drew on my squad. im thinking about dropping sims and picking up eddie royal or jeremy maclin. since i dont have any broncos or eagles on my team.

not really. I would start Manning, Clark, and Wayne in a heartbeat. You have to judge sims-walker on his merits and not worry that you also have jones-drew.

I'm not a fan... had Palmer, Ocho and TJ Hous on one team in the past.... it was boom or bust... CIN goes off and I'd score a ton... CIN falls flat and I was toast.... I stopped starting Palmer because of it...

This year I have Witten and MBIII/T Choice. Aside from the nightmare the last few weeks of who's getting carries at RB btwn the latter 2... when DAL sucked eggs on O vs DEN or KC I was toast at RB and TE.

I'm not an "all my eggs in one basket" guy... so in general I avoid players on the same team. However in your situation I wouldn't drop MSW--at least trade him if Eddie Royal or Maclin is the best you have on WW if its an issue for you.

Having two WRs (Moss/Welker) whose QB (Brady) is badly missing throws is a lot worse.

Oh, and puhleeze, you cannot be serious about dropping MS-W. You cannot be serious.

:moneybag: I don't go after it usually but I certainly don't mind it.

There are times when I like it better than others - I went after Jones and Nelson in 2 new dynasty leagues this year but they were late picks. I took FWP and Mendenhall in a redraft because I hoped Pittsburgh would run often regardless of who carried the ball (mendy was taken after all other good RBs were gone). I don't mind having Meachem and Henderson although they aren't worth much right now, they were late picks. Smith/Manningham has proven to be great. Overall I don't want my studs to be from the same team unless they're great values - so no Brady/Moss or Fitz/Boldin combos for me, but for the later picks, I'm good with it.

Oh and you aren't dropping MSW.

I can't see just dropping MSW. If you're that intent on not having 2 players from JAX you should be able to get something pretty decent for MSW rather than just putting him on the WW. And I don't really have a problem with 2 guys from the same team. Favre and Shiancoe did me well a couple of weeks ago on Monday Night.

I have Jennings and Driver going for GB. Starting Driver over Ray Rice, Jamal Lewis, Mario Manningham, and Calvin Johnson. Between them I think I will get 200 yards and 2 TD's and I will take that.

I have Cotchery and Keller in a dynasty league together.

That wasn't so bad except now I also have Braylon Edwards.

And the Jets are a run first team with a rookie QB.

I have no problem if there are two valuable players on the same time. Like mentioned earlier you have to view each player on their own merit. Might be tough if you have a team like JAC who got shut out but you have to go with the best players. If you don't want MSW at least trade him, you can get a lot more value than Maclin. One example of a good tandem I've been trying to acquire are Boldin and Fitz in both my leagues (have one of each in each league) due to their fantasy playoff schedule: @ SF, @ DET , SL.

If that team is the Bills, yes.Back when they stunk (2 years ago) and before, I used to have a rule to never have more than 1 player from the Cards on my teams. Now, I think if you can load up on as many Pats, Giants, Colts, Saints as possible you're looking pretty good. Here's what I really hate: when I have a key starter RB1 or QB going against my starting DST. I always feel like I have to pick one or the other.

A lot of what I read from FBGs is that having two players from the same team makes your team more consistent, not less.

I have Turner and White on my team this year and will play both today (though I am flip flopping on Turner/Moreno).

really? I like having my QB go against my D. Assuming both are good-great. Let my QB throw a lot, perhaps he'll throw some INTs in which case I'll get D points, or TDs which are always good. I guess you're unlikely to have big games from both, but likely to be solid.

It depends on the players. I had Garrard & MJD go for me week 5....so no, I didn't care for it much. The Peyton/Wayne owner in my league seems o.k. with it

this week, I am considering having a line-up with two teams represented by five players - Brees, Colston, DeSean Jackson, Maclin and Celek.

I really think both the Saints and Eagles will throw all over their respective opponents so I'm ok with it. NO is much better @ home and NYG are good enough to keep them throwing, and Andy Reid doesn't like to run much, even in blow-outs.
