Anyone else go w/ Dodds predictions for week 1 and start Kolb over another decent QB?

I started Kolb over Romo in two of my leagues.

don't get me wrong. i'm not blaming dodds. i wouldn't dare go there as i owe him credit for many titles i won in the last 5 years.

Not to toot my own horn but Kolb was one of the players I was warning against. He just never passed the old "eyeball test" to me.

Ive learned to take Dodds rankings as entertainment... he really steered me wrong the past 2 years. Surprised he is still doing it.

I have been doing much better ignoring Dodds and doing my own research and decision

I'd like to get paid for that That said, there's a matter of upside/risk that goes into starting players week 1, especially first-time starters like Kolb, that any owner should know about. Kolb had more upside than Romo this week, but got hurt and dind't look great before he got hurt. Romo isn't doing too great either so far in the first half. Basically neither were great options.
