That's great to hear! B-12 is known to help boost energy. I buy B-12 shots off Amazon and they work pretty well. Many adults are deficient some with D-3 unless you are in the sun enough. Fish oil, specifically DHA, is linked to mood improvement. So I did some research on some natural solutions for depression/anger, etc and I stumbled on this post where a poster said he took Fish Oil, D3, B12 and a probiotic and it really helped him.
I did some research on it and found out that a lot of my symptoms match up with B-12 deficiency, and that it's very common in people who take an acid reflux med (I take Protonix daily) because you need stomach acid to get B-12 out of food. Plus most of it said that the FDA recommended B-12 is way low.
It's the internet and I don't trust 90% of what I read on there, but I really didn't have anything to lose and I'd prefer vitamins to meds any day.
About 2 weeks ago I picked up some 2400mg fish oil (1200mg omega 3), 500mcg B-12 and 1000iu of D3. I've been taking the fish oil 2x a day (1 pill morning/night), the B12 in the morning and the D3 at night. (Ive had stomach issues with probiotics in the past so I passed on that one)
Since then I feel a lot better, like it really took the edge off. I still get angry once in a while because my kids still do dumb s**t and the business that I own isn't doing all that well lately, but it's not nearly as bad as it was and I don't feel like the anger sticks with me all day. Yesterday my wife told me she noticed a difference too, which was reassuring.
I didn't change anything else... I'm still fat, don't exercise nearly enough, eat like crap, sleep too little and the weather up here is miserable so I don't think it could be anything else. It could be placebo effect, but two weeks is a long time for that to happen IMO.
It's still only been a couple of weeks so take this all for what it's worth, but so far it seems to have really helped and I figured I would share. If it keeps working it sure beats the alternative.

Meds are always the last resort. To help make this a long term solution though you should at least work in like a 10 minute walk a day especially if you are sitting much of the day. While sitting watching tv/computer, do some stretches. Movement however small or short duration does help with depression especially in these dark gloomy days. I think everyone has the wintry seasonal depression to some degree especially in those wintry or rainy type states, even if it's not really noticeable and just the blues. Eating better of course will help a lot. Even though the pills seem to be helping, nothing is better than getting the vitamins/minerals from fresh foods as opposed to pills. Dark leafy veggies and bright colored veggies preferably raw is the best for mood as it's full of vit b's. Maybe have a nice salad each day, if not at dinner- makes a good lunch item.
I wish you continued success with this!
Not even vegetarian. I can't stay away from meats but I eat more veggies than anything in meals. I'm not sure going vegan is the ultimate best way to go as it's pretty hard to get everything you need on that menu. Plus good luck staying on it...unless you are really a vegan. It won't last long. The best course is load up on veggies and everything else in moderation. Salmon is also quite good as are nuts, especially walnuts. Are you vegan? That's great to hear! I quit working out and now I'm ready to blow my head off.I started working out again, and for the past 3 weeks I notice that Im less agitated, calmer and more patient.
Not cured by any means, but noticeably different.
Implemented the B12, D3, probiotic and fish oil regimen a week ago. Feeling better and optimistic is not just placebo. We'll see. If nothing else, the probiotic seems to have settled some digestive stuff I had going on.So I did some research on some natural solutions for depression/anger, etc and I stumbled on this post where a poster said he took Fish Oil, D3, B12 and a probiotic and it really helped him.

Me 2.I wanted to kill someone today for hurting my son's feelings. Was a mistake but my first instinct shouldn't be too punch someone in the throat. And, if it is MY first instinct I shouldn't act on it.Hope they can help you.Waiting in doctors office now.
Just bear in mind, finding the right med is often a bit of hit-and-miss and most health insurers have a heirarchy the doctors have to follow if insurance is to pay for it. Also, some may have unpleasant side effects. For example, I found "decreased libido" was an unpleasant side effect of Prozac... that went away when they shifted me to Cymbalta, but I had to try Prozac first for insurance to pay for Cymbalta.Me 2.I wanted to kill someone today for hurting my son's feelings. One of the side affects of Lexapro is that you might have trouble "finishing" at first.Lexapro is what was prescribed. We will see
Yeah, I heard that is a side effect of many of these types of drugs. Wonder how long it takes for them to start working. Doing research now.One of the side affects of Lexapro is that you might have trouble "finishing" at first.Lexapro is what was prescribed. We will seeNot always a bad thing.

Jerking off this might could get annoying. But don't tell my gfSince taking the meds I am better. But, it takes me a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg time to finish. Maybe that is a good thing?
It is really strange. I was thinking while doing just that ... I should be about ready to finish, but NO! The med makes you work harder and longer. I am selfish, I just want to finish.Jerking off this might could get annoying. But don't tell my gfSince taking the meds I am better. No joke I actually faked it a couple of times with the ex when I was taking Lexapro. Good thing she didn't ask for a money shot.Since taking the meds I am better. But, it takes me a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg time to finish. Maybe that is a good thing?
