Did Heap practice yet this week? What is his outlook to start this weed?

Limited practice...but he will play.

Jamison Hensley, of the Baltimore Sun, reports Baltimore Ravens TE Todd Heap (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 11. He should be able to start Week 6.

starting desmond clark over him... Heap has been terrible... if they put in Boller over McNair, I would feel better starting him.

Ah, the Todd Heap syndrome. Start a good TE on a team that loves to feature the TE and risk the goose-egg if he tweaks it in pre game, or go with the backup. Why I do it to myself every year with this guy I'll never know.

I hear you, brother. I've owned him in one league or another just about every year since he's risen to prominence, and I can't recall once thinking: "Boy, Todd Heap really saved me this week." All he's good for is perpetual ajita and frequent runs to the waiver wire for the likes of Alex Smith and Desmond Clark.
