Anyone starting Calvin? (1 Viewer)

Gotta figure out, Calvin over either Hines Ward or Pierre Garcon..

I'm still sitting him for Harvin (.5 PPR) and Wallace (my opponent has Big Ben...hoping for washout points).

Now if I could only figure out this Mike Williams/Colston debate...lol....

I'm starting Bess and Gaffney over CJ. Not being able to raise an arm is troublesome for someone like him who makes plays on balls thrown high.

Beginning to come around on the Knox vs. Seattle over CJ vs. NYG idea.
exactly the decision i am trying to make.
Same decision with me. I am going Calvin. Knox is too hit or miss.
I think I'm with you main because Calvin is the top weapon, he did well against the Packers defense, and the reports that he's able to move his arms around more ease is a good sign. Hate going back and forth on these and this usually bites me when I do, but like Johnson's upside and the Lions do protect the QB better than the Bears.

Djax in for me now....he has to breakout at some point. CJ should be reserved especially vs the best pass D in the league.

Figure maybe the GMen know this and will try and blitz often, giving Calvin more of a chance? :boxing:

Benching him in favor of Lance Moore

I am playing a guy that has beat me 10 of the 11 times we have played H2H

So I am sure that any decision that I make this week is the wrong one

i think i've made my call and am going the other way. hoping for a long bomb to knox against that terrible secondary. i'm way too worried about calvin playing 2 plays and not the rest. i put CJ in over a bye week filler in a different league, but i can't do the same because i think know is a decent option this week. good luck to all making the guess today.

Can't believe people aren't playing Megatron today, and for trash. Is he going to be a decoy in the redzone? I don't think so.
It just seems like his lack of movement and it being a shoulder would be cause for concern. I'm still starting him over McCluster who I feel is going to be a shocker with Chambers out, but I'm not feeling confident at all. I'm hopeful that I can come back to this thread and call myself a ####### for having ever doubted him.

Frigg it. I'm playing Calvin and Mike W. from TB. They are the most talented guys I got. If I lose, I'd rather lose with my best producers rather than roll the dice on the likes of Lance Moore or Crabtree.

Calvin's main benefit in the red zone is going up over people. If he is not able to fully extend his arms, this advantage is diminished somewhat.

I know I'd prefer to not see him jumping all over and potentially landing on the already banged up shoulder...

The potential for him not getting a catch and then getting shut down early is too great. I'll go with Torain over him who could get 20 touches.

Put him in, took him out. Put him in again, took him out again in the span of about 5 minutes. Deciding factor? The fact that the TB game is being televised here so I can see Mike Williams play.

I can't believe I'm starting Mike Thomas over Calvin Johnson, but I too am afraid of him falling on his shoulder and re-injuring it. I cannot afford getting a goose-egg.

as I said earlier, he's on my bench so he is going to blow up, I guess I was just conservative at 6-120 & a TD
