Anyone starting Wayne tonight? (1 Viewer)

Wayne has put together 4 solid games in PPR. I feel like his teammates will try to help him shine tonight. They all know that it is contract year and he has been well behaved considering the mess that is the Colts. This is a nationally televised game and the last game of the season for the Colts that anyone will watch.

I'm thinking they try to feed him the ball all night. He deserves it and is a great team player, so I'm hoping that he gets fed the ball all night.

Of course, I'm a Wayne owner, so I hope this scenario plays out. Thoughts?

I'm currently considering playing him over AJ Green in a PPR. I hate the idea of AJ getting hit early or not playing and giving me a 0.

This sounds like wishful thinking. The coaches will call the game and the players will play the game to win, just like they always do. Wayne might have a big game but not because the team wants to feed him the ball to pad his stats for contract negotiations with the Colts.

Didn't see this thread earlier. I went with Wayne over Damian Williams and Brandon Llyod who FBGs liked better.

Sucks that Wayne's been mediocre all year and this week in the fantasy championship i gotta face him. Oh well.

How weird is it that reggie wayne is a borderline #3 right now?

It will be interesting to see how he is valued next year, especially in dynasty/keeper leagues.

:goodposting: Due to injuries my opponent had to start him and of course, his best game of the year. I can't buy a bit of luck this year, had to grind it out to get into the playoffs in every league and it just seems like my opponents "have" to make a move and it works out every time.

I started Reggie hoping to catch a repeat of Week 1, and he matched the numbers exactly (106 yards receiving, 1 TD).

For those that continue into Week 17 (for whatever reason), Wayne should be a good start there also. He's 113 yards away from getting his 8th straight 1000-yard season, and I think the Colts will do all that they can to feed Reggie the ball.
