anyone use the fandraft software for their draft? (1 Viewer)

reviews?we have always used the oldschool draft board with stickers.
We always used the oldschool ways too. We used it this past weekend and it was great imo... Just adds a new look and feel to the standard draft boards. We used a 55" LCD and it looked beautiful. The names (stickers) were much bigger and more visible than our old stickers. Everything flowed nicely. Names were easy to see and color coded by position. Picks were easy to enter (pick from a list of top players or type in the name in the box). Another thing that was fun was that you can upload funny images for team's logos that will flash up everytime their pick is made. Only complaint was if someone messed up a pick, it was a little difficult to edit it and keep going but once we figured it out, it was fine. I recommend running a test draft and run it at home before you go. That way you can figure it out fully so there are no "technical difficulties" during the draft. You can print out the draft right away too. we also use MFL and can import our draft directly to our site. Easy greazy.. Plus you can upgrade for next years draft at half price. HIGHLY recommended imo.... Good luck

Sweet. Sounds good. We use mfl as well. We always draft at hooters so this should be a nice surprise for the boys when I put it up on the big screen.

Hooked it up to a projector at Damon's a couple times and it worked great.(And this was a few years ago before we moved to an auction, haven't used since then)

This will be my 3rd year using Fandraft for our draft. Previously we had used the old school draft board and stickers. I love Fandraft. We always draft at a local sports bar and have lunch before the draft. Fandraft has a pre-draft thing that runs that shows each team's page with their owner and team images that they submitted and plays that team's song. If the owners don't give me anything then I'll pick my own stuff for them which will usually be embarrassing and borderline inappropriate. I also use the owner notes space to put in movie quotes from movies like Old School, Caddyshack, etc.. We've basically made this piece pretty entertainining so that it sets a great tone leading into the draft.

I always practice a couple of drafts just to make sure that I can handle anything that might come up in the actual draft and then the draft itself goes smoothly.
