Are the Colts as Impressive... (1 Viewer)

For the most part, it has, although it veered strangely off track with some debates about the strength of the 06 Jets (!?). But what has been annoying is certain New England fans who don't want to respect any team other than their own. No matter what argument you might make for the merit of any opponent the Pats face, these guys just tear it apart.
ahahahahahahaha....the irony of this post just hit me!better be careful what you post, dude, it might bite you in the ###.ahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!! classic!omg the arrogance of some people!!

San Francisco with Trent Dilfer. The Jets with Kellen Clemens. Buffalo with Trent Edwards. St. Louis with Gus Frerotte. They played the three worst offenses in the league with their backup QB, and a fourth bad offense with their backup QB. Over half their games have been against miserable offenses playing without their starting QB.

The other three teams scored 27, 23 and 27 points. Forgive me if I'm not impressed with dominating a QB making his first start, a rookie QB, who had never started a game before this season, and two 35 year old QBs with career completion percentages of under 56 percent.
So exactly what D's are better than Balt's then?

:wall: Please. I think I'll stick with this ranking system.

The best chance to beat the Pats this year will be in one of four games: this coming week against Washington, Indy, the Giants, or the Steelers.
I'd give the Steelers the lowest chance of that group. Barring a turnaround, their offensive line and defensive secondary will not be good enough to win. They might make it interesting for a half, but they have a lot of improvement to make in two critical areas. Plus, they already have several injuries and are past their bye week.I can't believe I'm posting this after the Week 1 and 2 performances by the Giants, but they might have the best chance after the Colts, with a running game that could be effective in limiting the number of Patriot possessions, enough passing to put up points as needed, and a defensive line that could produce pressure on Brady without requiring a huge number of blitzes. It's all about matchups...
Eli Manning will throw about 5 INTs in that game if the Pats are 15-0 and going for the undefeated season. I'd give the Giants somewhere between 0 and 0.1% chance of ending the Patriots undefeated season.I'd say the Eagles have a better chance of doing it than the giants. But really, only the Colts have a halfway decent shot. The Steelers winning in NWE seems unlikely, and Balt/NYG have little chance. Maybe Phi or one of the division opponents do it: NWE has never swept the division.
Chase,I've been waiting a long time to post this reply. All I'll say is I got this one right. And I'm very happy about it.
