I always thought dynasty rankings were not updated much if at all in season.
Dynastyguys.com I believe has some updates rankings
ETA, never mind, they are not updated since August as well

I was going to ask this as well last week. I realize the inseason content takes a lot of time and effort but dynasty is year round and would be nice to see some of the staffs rankings throughout the season.

Believe me, I've done a lot of searching, and the only other website I can find that does weekly rankings updates is nooffseason.com. I can't comment on how good the rankings are, because they charge $20 a year for a subscription. Personally, I don't see why anyone would pay $20 for what I'm giving away for free, but obviously I'm a bit biased.

Isn't Chris the one that does Rotoworlds weekly dynasty rankings in their Season Pass? I'm a loyal fan of his work dating back to his old Sons of Tundra site. Is he posting weekly update on Rotoworld? When last I heard, he wasn't posting dynasty ranking updates on Rotoworld until they went through with their pending site redesign. As far as I know, Wesseling hasn't posted a full set of rankings since the eve of week 1 kickoff. If anyone has any information to the contrary, I'd be very interested in hearing it.Edit: Nevermind, after a bit of digging, it looks like Wesseling is doing weekly updates after all. Funny thing....I chose not to pay for any content this year and my team so far is one of the best I've ever had in 12 years of FF.

Yep, Rotoworld does a top 200 dynasty ranking update every Thursday around noon. Because Chris handles most of their dynasty related articles/content, I guess I just assumed that's where he went with his rankings now that his free Sons of the Tundra site no longer gets updated. I guess the bigger question isn't whether if they are being done but moreso why they aren't being done?
I mean, this site puts out a lot of quality stuff, but those rankings were updated on a fairly regular basis during the offseason when there isn't/shouldn't be THAT much movement. This is now when it counts, this is when guys make some big moves up and down, and the fact that there hasn't been an update from ANY staffer since the start of the season is a little disappointing. I'm not even expecting weekly updates from everyone, but ONE update from at least ONE staffer in SIX weeks isn't that much to ask, IMO.

I agree. The only reason I decided to get the Rotoworld Season Pass is because they update their dynasty rankings each week - before the waiver wires open in most of my leagues. You'd think every major fantasy site would do this, but they don't and I have NO idea why.

I am VERY happy to have the Lineup Dominator out every week by Tuesday evening (so far) so I hate to rock the boat but really dynasty content and the LD are the two main things that keep me here now it may be Rotoworld dynasty rankings vs FBG's Lineup Dominator unless I cave and pay for both.

Yeah GM, that's pretty much how I see it. Obviously there's more for staffers to write about now than in the offseason, but not updating dynasty rankings when guys like Arian Foster are clearly now ranked FAR higher than they were in August simply cheapens the overall feel for the site.Maybe this is why the rankings aren't paid content, as us subscribers would have more reason to complain.gianmarco said:

Yea. And up until a month ago or so you couldn't even view the rankings at all if they hadn't been updated in 14 days. Which they weren't. I would think something like rankings would be updated at minimum biweekly.

while i love my big money redraft league, the 2 dynasty leagues that i am in are my favorites. 1 full idp, 1 not. count me in as someone who would like to see more attention paid to the dynasty format.

Another subscriber here that is disappointed with two issues:
The lack of in season dynasty information/rankings
No PPR dynasty information- ever
I love my FBG subscription but to be honest there is a lot of content that I really don't ever check out or use. From discussions in the shark pool the last few years I think we can say that PPR has become more popular than non PPR.
Listen to your paying customers and try to come up with a way to get the people what they want. You can't please everyone but I'm sure you can conduct a survey and find out what the majority would like to add and what can be omitted if necessary to make room.

You already have one great source in the shark pool to hire and utilize for more in season dynasty content- SSOG. He does a great job on the board and seems to bring more to the shark pool than many already on staff.

I'm not naive enough to think it was because of my suggestion but maybe there were already thoughts of doing this and many others in the survey also suggested this acquisition and helped to move this forward.
My point being maybe it is time for another survey to get a feel for what additions & changes the paying customers would like to see.
I firmly believe FBG's is the elite source for FF information but lets not become complacent or stubborn to making improvements and keeping with the times.

If Waldman and SSOG were on staff, then I'd buy a subscription. Would love to have F & L on board, but he already has a gig.
I think there is money to be made with a Dynasty Fantasy Football Site. Dynasty league are really starting to become large and offer the year round feel to them.
I think if FBG's really jumped on board with this they could have a big edge in the competition. If not there has to be some entrepreneur out there that buys a $7.99 Domain name and takes advantage of this. So what I am saying does anyone want to join forces with me and create the ultimate Dynasty FF site?

FBG tried this with Dynastyguys, it started off hot, but then cooled off and basically became a place to ask for trade advise.

I think it would be helpful for trades. A lot of teams out of contention may be looking to get rid of some of their older players, or players who may otherwise have a short shelf life. Just to take Ryan Torain, for example, he has high value in re-draft leagues, but it would be interesting to see an "expert's" take on his Dynasty ranking.And I don't think it should be an "either/or" proposition with respect to the other re-draft inseason content. The rankings are a feature of the site. If FBGs does not have sufficient manpower for all its features, then it obviously needs more manpower.
Bloom and Tefertiller have updated their rankings on 10/18 and 10/21. They're not updated on the overall tab, but if you go to the positional rankings they're there.

I'm not sure how you get there though; I have a bookmark to the rankings and can see the updates there. However when I try to get there from the FBG Homepage by clicking on forecast; dynasty rankings, it shows that there are no updates.

How long ago was this though? I think Fantasy Football has exploded and now Dynasty leagues are becoming more and more popular I think it would be a hot spot once again. I definitly would like to contribute.

How do you get to the positional rankings? When I click on Dynasty rankings, I just get a screen that says nothing submitted. No tabs.
I had the WR rankings bookmarked and from there can click see the updates and click on the drop down to see all of the positions. However I tried getting there from the FBG Homepage but see the same screen you're talking about.

Ok, I expanded the "how recent" range in the URL to get to the tabs, and then went into the positional rankings. This should bring to the QB rankings in the last 28 days (and then can get to other positions): http://subscribers.footballguys.com/apps/v...mp;howrecent=28ETA: FBGs should really work on making this more accessible.

Not true. There have been numerous polls/discussions on this. PPR players are just louder.
