Are the Seahawks for real? (1 Viewer)

I don't think this game says much about either team. Opening game for Seattle + new coach + division rival = anything could happen.

this game exposed how crappy the niners secondary are and how the niners can't stop the blitz whatsoever. oh yeah and alex smith is way too inaccurate...

We have a good team and Seattle plays extremely well especially the D at home, most teams have a rough time with the noise, false starts etc. I found it interesting how many football experts were down on Seattle, with a very weak division a much improved and healthy team means we will win games.

youve seen 30 minutes of fottball. chill out. waste of thread.
And yours is a waste of a post.
it's advice you should take. stupid threads like yours half way into the the first week of games are POINTLESS.
Well its was a full game and guess what the OP's question is valid? Why cannot you not answer the question? And yet the 49ers were exposed for once again the frauds they are. With Alex Smith as QB they are a middle of the road team. And will be lucky to win 9 games... that may win the division..

secondary looked bad, o-line didnt open up any holes, qb play is god awful. that said, it was one game (the first game) and strang things happen. Mark my words, seattle doesnt win 8 games and SF wins 10 and takes division. stop overreacting....if the look this bad again next week, then a legit discussion will be needed, but im not firing anyone yet (well, maybe smith)

Seattle's the real deal....

I said it before the season started...NFC West Champs, first round exit out of the playoffs.

If you don't like then don't click into the thread. Anyways, it is looking scary for the 49ers and I hope this was a wake up call.Regardless, I'm picking up Troy Smith.

The D looks real but if the O can't keep up it won't last for long. They can't be out on the field for 40+ minutes/game and expect to stay "real". Pass protection was good but the running game was pretty poor. Gotta wait and see how Okung will affect it to be sure. It was very comforting though, this game, after a mediocre preseason.

One thing's for sure, win or lose, anything's better than Moron Jr as a HC!

The 9ers went for it on fourth down and short like four times in first half and made none of them. That is why they lost. if I were a Seattle fan I would be happy, but I wouldn't be making reservations for Dallas just yet. 8-8 is still tops for the Seahawks.
